FAQ
The First offers packages in the form of 4, 5 or 6 lessons. The number of lessons will depend on each individual couple! Get in touch to have a chat about what we recommend for you and your partner.
Whichever way you choose to go, we work together on a weekly or fortnightly basis to have your choreographed routine up to scratch, so you feel comfortable and ready for the dance on your special day.
We recommend no longer than 3 minutes for your first dance. Most songs are around this length or can be faded out effectively at 3 minutes. We also offer complimentary music editing for those that might need a little more attention.
We recommend the following as a guide;
3 months prior to wedding day:
2 months prior to wedding day:
1 month prior to wedding day:
Absolutely not! We specialise in teaching simple, easy to follow dance moves that will have you feeling confident, comfortable and looking fabulous, ready for your wedding day.
Something easy to move in, preferably stretchy and definitely comfortable. Ladies, bring your heels along with you, however we won't wear them until the later lessons of your package so that you can concentrate fully on the choreography primarily.
Similarly, if you have a similar length skirt or dress to your wedding dress, it's worth wearing that in the later lessons to get a feel for what the choreography is like in that length of dress.
