With a passion for anything wedding related I'm an overall lover of love. I have been planning events with a specialty in weddings, hens & engagements for 10+ years! I have worked in some of Victoria's most premium wedding venues, alongside industry professionals and have a wide network of connections. Believing everyone should be able to have their dream day to celebrate the best moments in their lives I knew I needed to start my own business to share my knowledge.

Great question! Amie first joined the hospitality industry over 10 years ago & quickly fell in love with events!

Knowing she wanted to make it a career – she has numerous qualifications under her belt, including;

  • Cert 2 in Event Planning, Styling & Design (Specialising in Weddings & Engagements)
  • Cert 3 in Business Administration
  • Multiple Short Courses in Social Media & SEO – Udemy
  • Harvard University short course in Copywriting
  • Creators Training Certificate – course completion Funnel & Conversion Design
 

And most importantly the numerous years of experience in the field – not only planning events, running venues, rostering & staff management – working her way up from a waiter at just 19yo gives a unique insight & understanding into what is required.

Amie has worked in every type of venue, assisting with every type of event! From a small 10pax hens lunch, to 400pax corporate galas, weddings, VIP launches, tradeshows, expos & MORE!

This is pretty common – it’s always a good idea to have a budget in mind – it helps not only us but the vendors when we know what you are comfortable spending.

If you are unsure where to start on creating a budget we can advise you of how to best go about this on your consultation call.

Of course you do! You want your event to be super memorable so everyone is talking about it for months if not years to come!

We always go above & beyond to ensure the small touches & little details for each client.

During our first call I will ask you a few standard questions to find out which package would best suit. If proceeding with a booking I have a questionnaire I ask for you to fill out which provides insight into the type of event you are after & any special touches you might want.

From there I get to researching & suggesting ideas that can help you make your day one-of-a-kind!

If you are wanting to take your event to the next level & have the budget to do so then nothing is out of reach! Get in touch & we would love to help you plan something BIG!

YES! If you need us physically at an event, we travel up to 2hrs from Melbourne CBD – Included in certain package costs – which can be discussed on your inital consult call.

We do have services available for those who live further out or are willing to travel to you for an additional fee!

Looking for guidance please on the most practical timelines, especially in relation to cake cutting and first dance. Our photographer and venue have very different run sheets, I haven't got the videographers yet! Hey there,

Your photographer and venue should be communicating and most importantly following the timeline YOU and YOUR PARTNER have asked for.

Just rememebr it is YOUR DAY.

If your ceremony is ending around 3/3:30pm then the photographer has probably factored in for the sunset and natural lighting.

Also keeping in mind that if you are doing a first look you could do the photos with the horses prior to leaving to avoid the back and forth.

I'd be interested to know in this timeline where your entrees & mains are served.

And also the vibe of you guys as a couple and your guests - you could do the cake cut right on the entry so that the photos are done in order for you to relax and enjoy a drink. I've had many couples do this and it's a nice way to begin the reception.

I would also split the speeches up given there are 6 total - commonly your entree would be served not long after the entry - then 3 speeches - main served - 3 speeches - mains cleared - first dance - this gets the dancefloor going - and gives option for a photo or two of your first dance before the photographer leaves.
