What happens at the "sunday brunch"? Am I expected to have one?

My mum said I should have one and open gifts in front of guests, especially for people who have traveled.. I'm not sure about it. Is this a thing that modern couples do?

It's nice to have a relaxing brunch the next morning as husband and wifewith family and close friends

A lot people that do this it's usually a destination wedding where a lot of people have traveled for the wedding and stay over night close by

I guess you would have to see how many people would come the next morning and if it's worth it ,:) good luck

Planning wedding from a different state any ideas on how to make the process easier?

We currently live in the Northern Territory and want to get married on the Gold Coast/Norther NSW next year cause all our families and friends are there and we love it, any advice on how to make the planning process easier?
