She is able to foresee good and not so good situations (especially when we take a while to do what she has instructed us to do)." Rejane

"Kadija was the most wonderful, switched on and thoughtful wedding planner. From the moment we had our initial call, she made us feel at ease. We were considering coordinating our wedding ourselves, but thank God we didn't - thanks to Kadija we could enjoy our day and not worry about all the little things that happen behind the scenes. Cliché or not, I fell in love with that amazing Wedding Planner backstage world and every single step involved. I became an integral part of her team until I moved to Sydney. Since the experience, I’ve never lost the passion for supporting others plan, celebrate and craft their Big Day into the unforgettable moment they deserve

I'm happy to plan things, but would like a fairy godmother type to help keep timelines running smoothly.
Is there anything we need to consider/do differently for a weekday wedding?
Hi there. We're considering a weekday wedding, maybe a Thursday or Sunday. Is there anything ] different or unexpected we'd need to consider about having a non-weekend wedding?
The Happiness Ring
Hi Bride.
Yes, there are some things to consider when having a weekday wedding:
Is your wedding a destination wedding?
Do the majority of your guests need to take time off work to travel? Are they anticipating a multi-day event? If your guests' calendars are already blocked off, then you’ve got more flexibility with the day of the week you choose.
In Regards to a Thursday or Sunday wedding, there are two main difference between the way to see the party happening:
Thursday and Friday nights are still considered 'party nights. People are at the end of their work week, or they can get the beginning of their work done, make the event, and still feel like they have more days to recover before they have to be back at work.
On the other hand with Sundays you’re running into everyone’s upcoming week, and your guests' mindset may not be in party mode.
Some pros are:
You can secure your drem vendor
You will save money
You can draw low your guest list
Some cons are:
Not everyone will be able to attend
The party might not deliver the same mood as wekeend wedding (work hard, play not too hard)
Save the date/invitation will need to be send in a longer notice.
I hope that helped.
