I cannot speak highly enough of Christine and the team at I Do Crew! Firstly, my wedding was postponed twice and they were so patient and flexible each time. Then leading up to the wedding Christine went above and beyond checking in on my wedding planning and finding solutions to problems that arose. I had a very clear vision of my wedding day aesthetic and I had so many decorations and instructions for them, and they delivered well beyond my expectations! All the guests commented how amazing everything looked and I was absolutely thrilled with how everything came together. Christine liaised with my venue and a hire company to make things easier for me and it was an absolute pleasure working with this team, I would recommend them again and again, it was worth every dollar to have one less thing to worry about!

Choosing to have a day of coordinator was one of the best decisions I made. I did end up relaxed with no stress on the day. We had Terrisa who was a delight. She was in contact before the day, organising the day with vendors beforehand to ensure a smooth day ahead. Im so happy we decided to have a day of coordinator! I was happy to plan on my own but with things that had to happen on the day (such as coordinating the petal canons, ensuring everything is running smoothly) I wanted to have someone to help. Wow! Christine was the coordinator and Stylist for our destination wedding at Falls Creek in Victoria. We felt like we had known Christine for years, and her service was so friendly, heart felt and professional. I briefed her a few weeks before our wedding on many of the small personal details and styling plans, as well as logistical and schedule co-ordination requirements. Every task asked of her was taken on with enthusiasm and efficiency, she made our whole wedding run so smoothly and it went off without a hitch! Is there such a thing as a day of coordinator?

You nailed the job description Catriona - A Day of Coordinator is a type of Fairy Godmother who steps in to execute your plans on your wedding day. You may not always see the service referred to as 'day of coordinator' however. We use the term Wedding Day Manager and some Wedding Planners call the service Month of Coordination - that's because to be effective a Wedding Coordinator needs to understand your plans, vision, priorities and more to effectively do the job you need them to do, this means they usually start working with you prior to the wedding. Our process is a meeting 8-6 weeks prior to go over all of the details and then we start coordinating with your other vendors and creating the runsheet from about 4 weeks out. Happy Wedding Planning! Hello Florence. Congratulations on your engagement. I hope you are having lots of fun planning your upcoming wedding. The first thing I tell all couples is that you get to choose what you include in your wedding and what you leave out. If a Wedding website appeals, there are some benefits to having one, but many couples don't have one and everything runs smoothly. The choice may come down to whether you see the benefits saving you time in the long-run and making the process of planning your wedding more enjoyable, or whether you see the time it will take to maintain your site, 'just something else you need to do'. There is no right or wrong answer.

Benefits can include;

  • Saving money on the cost of printing invites and RSVP cards
  • Not printing those invites makes it an eco friendly option
  • Helps you manage your guest list and keeps everything in one secure location
  • Makes it easier to give directions to your wedding and any other detailed instructions, or information you need to pass onto guests (great for private property weddings, weddings in regional locations, or when you have guests travelling from inter-state or overseas to attend your wedding).
  • Helps if you have to make last minute changes due to weather - guests can stay up to date via the site.

Hi there have you any advice on celebrating wedding months after secret marriage?

I am not quite used to the concept of celebrating the wedding after the marriage after all it was secret, no family invited/aware. So I'd like an intimate celebration 50 max, need tips and help please thank you

I think the key word is Celebrate. A wedding is a day - a marriage is 'forever'. As you think about what you want for your celebration, focus on the fact that you are inviting people to celebrate your marriage with you. Something intimate that reflects your personalities is ideal. That might be a formal cocktail party, or a relaxed Garden BBQ, or Picnic - it really depends on you as a couple. You can leave all traditions aside, or bring in some to mark the occasion; for example cutting a cake or speeches.
