Hi Shireen,
I myself have a wedding coming up in the Mt Dandenong's and most of my guests are travelling over 2 hours.
I put an accommodation card with the invitations to give them the option to stay over night & reserved rooms for immediate family only.
If budget is tight another option is to send out 'save the date' cards with an accommodation card to give people notice that you won't be having your wedding in Melbourne and gives them time to save some money & organise themselves.
You'll probably find most guests are happy to pay as they will either stay for only one night or make a weekend out of it :)
