My name is Kah-lei and I’m the founder of Gold Coast Floral Collective. I am located on the Gold Coast but deliver from Brisbane to Byron. I’m a full time working mum of 3 children from 3-12 years old. I started my business just over 2 years ago as I have always had a passion for creativity and I love creating something special for my customers. They say if you love what you do it wont feel like work. This is very true. I love being the source of creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Our recommendation is that you can never be too early, but you can most certainly be too late.
The earlier you figure out everything that you want, the less stressed you will be when the time draws closer to your big day. This also allows us ample time to source all the flowers and other items required (if any), and grants us some extra time should there be any changes or unforeseen complications.
Pricing depends on availability and the type of flowers used. The price also depends on the floral design as some designs are more simple than others, while some designs are more abstract and require a higher quantity of flowers to create the desired look. The prices of local and imported flowers also impact the final cost. Contact us to discuss your wedding needs. We would love to help.
Traditionally Parents of the Couple will get Corsages or Buttonholes for the Wedding Day. Typically the flowers will not match the Couple's Flowers, often being a simply white flower with maybe some gold or silver ribbon to match the Parents outfits on the day. Grandparents can also receive Corsages and Buttonholes on the special day to wear, again as the parents, not matching the Couple's Flowers.
These are all optional though and you should not feel pressure to organise Corsage and Buttonholes for your Parents and Grandparents if it doesn't fit into your budget.

Make sure the wedding planner you choose is available on your wedding date. Some planners can be booked up far in advance this is why it is important to organise as early as possible.
You'll be working closely throught the process so choose someone whose communication style and personality mesh well with yours.
Different planners offer different levels of service, from full service planning to on the day coordination, consider what level of service you need and make sure the planner can provide it.
