When should you book a wedding planner?

It depends on how involved your wedding planner needs to be. For a full scale planner, they will need to be part of the process from the beginning. For on-the-day coordination about 2-3 months is enough time to finalise the details and schedule the day.

Budgets

Depending on the scale of your event, more or less hours may be required and can help with budgeting constraints.

It's your wedding and budgets are important, so together we will discuss your vision, non-negotiables and tailor a plan that best suits you and your event.

What is bridal dressing?

Having someone there whose only job is to get you dressed and looking flawless is an overlooked service that helps take the stress out of your wedding morning. Not only will I assist you getting dressed, putting your shoes on and setting your veil but I will travel to your ceremony and complete the final fluff of your train and veil. Everyone including the bridal party is already waiting for you at the end of the aisle, so having someone dedicated to making sure you and your dress looks its best for the photographers is crucial.

Do I need an on-the-day coordinator?

You've done the work and completed the many months of planning. But who will actually look after all those carefully thought out plans? You and your partner are getting married and will be the center of attention, you shouldn't have to worry about seating place cards or making sure the day runs on time. As an on-the-day coordinator I will take care of all the finer details, create a timeline for the day and ensure everyone sticks to it. I will also liase with all vendors in the lead up so you can focus on your final preparations like mannicures, facials, dress pick ups etc.

I had absolutely no clue where to begin when it came to my wedding and didn't want my experience to me ruined by stress and uncertainty. Alanah stepped in and quite literally save the day. She was calm, caring and held my hand every step of the way!! She listened to my vision for the day and then set about creating a super detailed and personalised plan of how to get there, including every single timeline and hidden deadline I should keep in mind along the way so that there were no surprises. This even allowed me to think more clearly about my overall budget and end up saving money in the long run. Overall, To Be Wed made the whole process to be so much fun and I absolutely could not recommend her more highly. Thank you so much Alanah x
