Hi there. We're considering a weekday wedding, maybe a Thursday or Sunday. Is there anything ] different or unexpected we'd need to consider about having a non-weekend wedding?
What isnt necessary when it comes to weddings
Our amazing honeymoon is more important to us than the wedding itself.. so what do i really not need to include in my wedding in order to keep costs to a minimum :)

Hi Bride-to-be,
This is very good question to aks for the starting point of your wedding planning process.
Obviously your honeymoon is very important for you and that will be on the top of the hierarchy. And ceremony is a celebration and also the legal process of your marriage, which has to be there. You can have very simple and elegant decoration for your ceremony, it won't cost that much and plus you can DIY this part. Finally, it is reception. You can only invite closed families and friends to your reception to reduce the cost. To have a cozy and intimate wedding is the way to save you heaps of money and make the day very personal. I mean you can have several different ways to save money for the honeymoon, and cutting numbers will be the most effective way.
Hopefully this information will help you for your wedding planning. Good luck for everything, in case you need me, here is my contact. Info@fablestudio.co

How do I encourage guests to write in my guest book?
I'm providing a guest book but I dont want it to be left in the corner with no love!!! how do I get people to write in it without necessarily approaching them and asking directly?
Fable Studio Co
Hi there,
The guest book can be as classic as a book, or can be very creative. The creative guest book is more engaging and more fun. I know some couples provided the wooden blocks from jumbling towers as their guestbook. The guests signed on the blocks and put them in a jar. After the wedding, you can still hold on those toys as part of family entertainment and also your wedding memories. That is just an example of creative guest book. You can find something truly reflects both of you and your partner.
Hope this piece of info could help and good luck for your wedding planning.

Hi darl,
Yes, the others had very good points, totally agree and relevant and I want to add one more thing is Traffic. It is not a huge factor that determines your decision but also important enough to include in your consideration.
From our experience, if you are having a wedding held somewhere in a major city/metro area during weekdays, the traffic could be an unexpected factor to deal with and might affect your wedding schedule, this is not only for your vendors (most vendors will plan enough travel time) but also for yourselves and your guests. This could include peak hour, school zone, wet weather and simply being jammed on the road.
If you are going to pick a Thursday wedding, make sure you know your travel time, your travel route/s and parking area, etc. The ceremony and the reception are better in the same venue or close location to avoid Thursday afternoon travel.
Hope that makes sense and could help your case.
Cheers
