What are some good undercover places to take wedding photos in Melbourne?

We're getting married in Melbourne soon and I'm scared we'll be rained out for photos. What are some good undercover places to take wedding photos around Melbourne?

Parks are always great as the trees usually protect you from the rain. Awnings are great in the city too. We always find somewhere!

The secret hideouts of Melbourne;

Where do you start? We like to talk to the bride and groom to get their thoughts, their history and likes.

Personally, I love to use Graffiti, and there are great places to find high quality wall art.

We recently gate crashed a footy game for a couple that wanted footy photos in the background, it was only a training session, but the players loved it as much as the couple.

Don’t think inside the box, go for a drive or think what is important to you.

My top three pics:

  • Hosier Lane in Melbourne (you also have two lanes nearby and fed square across the road)
  • RMIT or Melbourne Uni especially at Dusk (there are allies and lighting around that looks fantastic)
  • Hardware Lane in the city and the surrounding laneways even if lots of people are around.

We have lots more, so contact us to find your ideal spot.

There are some great spots undercover around Flenders Street Station, within Southern Cross Station, and surrounding the National Gallery.
