Hi all, my name is Rhys and I am living the dream as the owner and operator of The Sidewalk Artist. I am married, a dad, and a lover of all things coffee. We have been covering weddings in the Wollongong, Southern Highlands, South Coast, Blue Mountains, Newcastle, Hunter and Sydney regions for the last four years.

This started about six to seven years ago. I started traveling to Wollongong, Southern Highlands, South Coast, Blue Mountains, Newcastle, Hunter, and Sydney regions and walking the streets of Sydney taking photos of interesting people and places. I took my camera to the sidewalk - hence the name. My camera was constantly with me which grew my passion. Since then, I studied photography at university and the rest is history.

Now that you know a little more about me, I am so excited to meet you and talk about making your wedding day something to remember.

• Beautiful wedding photos. Rhys takes absolutely exceptional, dreamy wedding photos - they’re just so sharp, candid, and well lit. Trust us, you’ll love putting together your wedding album with the breathtaking shots taken by this talented professional!
• Lovely photographer. Rhys is incredibly friendly, polite, and a lot of fun - you’ll definitely enjoy working with him. He’ll fit in well with your friends and family, and won’t intrude on any genuine moments - he’ll just quietly capture them and surprise you with some gorgeous images of candid, authentic interactions.
• Quick turnaround. We’re sure you want your wedding photos back as soon as possible after your wedding, and that’s perfectly understandable! Rhys knows this, too, which is why he endeavours to deliver wedding photos within two to four weeks of your wedding date. He’ll also throw in some sneak peek photos within days of your wedding to give you a taste test of what's to come.
• Videography services. If you’re after videography services, too, Rhys knows a number of incredible, talented videographers who can join him on the day - and he’s happy to recommend them to you! The benefit of Rhys working with someone he knows? He’ll be able to easily coordinate with the videographer so absolutely nothing about your wedding day is missed - from the small details to the larger, emotional moments.
