Mike Potts Photography

The Collections are a base price for the allotted time period with the cost of the album incorporated.  It also incorporates the considerable time involved to process all of the RAW format images from the wedding.  The number of digital files provided is dependant on the Wedding Collection chosen.  I encourage clients to discuss the various options available.

Essentially Mike Potts Photography provides to the client all of the digital files that are used in the album.  The supplying of digital files is based on the number sides that would have been in the album.

Generally clients will pick no more than nine images for a side due to the size of the images in relation to the page size.  Clients will often select one or two images for the side.  It is an individual preference for the couple and the presentation of their album.

Once a wedding is completed clients will be allocated a client area on my website that can be either private or public.   Once the image is reviewed the client selects their favourite images that they want in the album.  From this I will provide any additional retouching that is required to enhance the image to a quality product.  The draft copy of the album is digitally provided to the client for their review and comments for any adjustments to the draft before final approval is given for printing of the album.

The same principle applies if you are choosing digital files by themselves.

When I shoot a wedding I based the storytelling required for the event e.g. bride getting makeup done, bride getting hair done, bride interaction with bridesmaids during getting ready etc.

In my experience it is rare that a couple will want 30 images of the bride getting her hair done, as she will normally have one or two favourites of this event.  Having a large number of digital files of the single event will generally result in the couple discarding 95% of the images as they do not enhance the memory of that sequenced event.

There are however occasions where all digital files will be presented to the couple however this is an individual discussion between Mike Potts Photography and the client.

Mike Potts Photography is a sole trader with no additional photographers provided at this time.

Mike Potts Photography does not provide videography services.  Photography is the area of expertise.

Although I am primarily in the Shoalhaven area I am willing to travel anywhere in Australia.  Any travel costs over 7km from Nowra is required to be covered by the client.  Please refer to my website for a pdf version of my pricing for weddings.  An additional price list is also available that covers the full list of services provided by Mike Potts Photography.

Should accommodation be required by Mike Potts Photography, the client will be responsible for providing this accommodation. 

All components of a wedding will form part of a formal contract between Mike Potts Photography and the client.
