I love shooting weddings. Over the course of two decades I've shot countless weddings. The thrill of getting great shots in beautiful light with real emotion never fades. Being a part of such monumental days and being asked to document it for my clients is such a buzz and privilege. I love the reactions from clients when they see their photos. I met Grant when I was a bridesmaid on a friend's wedding. I loved my friend's photos and I loved that he was so laid back and unobtrusive. We booked Grant once we had set a date. He helped so much in offering advice on other suppliers. Many of his recommendations we actually went with. Videographer, florist, venue, hair and makeup. His knowledge of the wedding industry as a whole was invaluable to me as I knew nothing. It was like having a wedding planner and amazing photographer in one. Our photos are incredible - the best I've seen. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Grant had already shot a friend ‘s wedding and their photos were beautiful.So I locked him in more than a year out from my wedding date.Having already seen Grant’s work I was confident I would love my photos before I’d even seen them....I did and I still do seven years later.It was pouring with rain on our wedding day and Grant still managed to get photos better than I could have ever imagined.He made sure our limo drivers and video guys knew where to go and was very accommodating to our families and guests. Since our wedding,Grant has also shot both my kids christenings and done two rounds of family portraits.All stunning. I wouldn’t use anyone else.If you’re looking for the best,go with Grant.

How much notice do you need for overtime requests?

You can just tell me on the night if you want to extend your photography package hours. Some people decide during the reception that they'd like a longer coverage. I'm always happy to stay longer on the night if couples decide last minute they'd like more time.

What questions should you ask when searching for the right photographer?

Also legal to make sure you are covered, documents to watch for or enquire regarding booking what should the photographer give you to seal the deal.

Just love the style they shoot. That's the most important thing. And make sure theyre the sort of person you'd want to hang out with for a good part of your wedding day.

My advice is to stay clear of trends. Trends date. Just choose someone who's style you like. The most important thing is that you love the photos. To choose a photographer whos style is classic, natural and has a good flow will ensure that you'll love showing your wedding photos off for decades. It's important to research a photographer and choose them because you love their style.
