I'm Christina Barton, owner and photographer of Copper Tree Photography. I like to think of myself as more than just a photographer. I'm a Visual Artist that captures precious moments in the lives of my clients to be enjoyed for years to come. I've had a love of photography since the age of 15 and made it my mission in life to document the lives of others. I wanted to capture the love people share and the bonds that they have created and won't be broken. How could my life be dull if that was my career? To this day 17 years later I still get goose bumps from the emotions people display. From the moment a groom sees his bride for the first time to the excitement that wells in the eyes of an expectant mother as she looks down at her tummy. My life is far from dull. People ask "why Copper Tree?" The tree symbolises family, strength, stability, wisdom and beauty. The people that I photograph represent these things. As for copper... well in short I like the colour, the longer answer is that I've always been versatile, I could play all positions in the netball team at school, I tend to make the best out of any situation and I'm a casual teacher! you can't not be versatile in that job so the copper represents me.
I'd love to hear your love story and what you've got planned. Please check out www.coppertreephotography.com.au to see my latest work and view my wedding packages.
Christina from Copper Tree Photography was amazing. Our photos were all very natural taking full advantage of the beautiful backdrops of the Hunter Valley. We weren't keen on having hours of staged photos taken which Christina respected, the more "unplanned" photos of how our day progressed were lovely.
