OVERVIEW
Thank you for clicking on my advert. My name is Charlie Ralph and I am an international wedding photographer based in Sydney.
My style is very natural, relaxed and candid. I prefer to capture those genuine smiles and spontaneous moments rather than the more stage. It's the unscripted moments that are the best. Most of all, I like to blend in like an old friend.
If you like my style then that's great because all the photos are taken by me - I'm an individual and not a photography company. This means you can expect this style and calibre of photography on your day. No surprises!
Anyway, I would love to hear from you. So please get in contact if you would like to find out more about the packages that I offer. Check out more of my work here: www.charlieralph.photography

Will cold weather effect my wedding photos?
my date is set for the middle of winter. i'm not talking about rain or wet weather here, i'm talking about bitterly cold weather! will it effect my photos if we pose outdoors? like will my skin be all goosebumpy and ruin the photos, and does a cold expression come across on wedding photography??

Hi Alexina - I LOVE winter weddings. The light is so much better and much more flattering on the skin. The shadows are longer, the highlights are less harsh and you don't have to worry about sweating on a boiling hot day. Find a wrap that you wouldn't mind having in the photos if you have to, but the adrenalin will be pumping through you and your photographer will keep you moving. Also you will have your new husband to give you lots of cuddles and keep you warm! Winter light is much flattering on the skin. I noticed that you are getting married in September. In my opinion, from a photography perspective, that is one of the best months! Reach out if you are looking for a wedding photographer - I would love to help you! :) p.s. don't worry about goosebumps. Your photographer would literally need to be shooting with a macro lens to get those. In short, the lenses used in post-ceremony photography just wouldn't pick up your goosebumps. Otherwise we would all need to start worrying about getting photos of the pores of people's skin!
Best rustic photo locations for the rocks in Sydney?
Charlie Ralph Photography
Hello! Charlie from Charlie Ralph Photography here! Is your ceremony and reception in the Rocks itself too? The reason I ask is because the Botanical Gardens is rich with many hidden and awesome spots. When my couples book me I like to talk to them in depth about where we go for the post-ceremony photos taking into account where the ceremony and reception are and timing. As you are getting married in winter the light disappears earlier then you will want to bear this in mind when considering timing of your ceremony. Hello! What I recommend is that you ask two members of your bridal party to be responsible for this. Ask them to talk to your photographer first and ask where the best spot might be for them to arrange it. Then leave it in their capable hands. The day should be for you to enjoy rather to spend it organising people! That's why you have your close friends and family to help ;) The DJ can make an announcement and then your friends can place people. I wouldn't leave this to your photographer to do as I am sure that you would prefer that your photographer remains capturing moments and getting into position rather than grouping people together! Hope that helps!
