FAQ
Yes, of course, I love travel as much as photography, it's where it all started. In 2019, I got to go to Italy and to Tasmania to shoot weddings, they are always special ones.
I simply research the destination and come up with the best prices for flights, 2 nights accommodation and car hire and propose a percentage o the logistical fee to you.
You may be surprised how cheap you can get all three. It can still end up cheaper and easier than finding a photographer at your location.
Ideally yes, especially for the full and half day bookings. We can meet up for a coffee, a wine or a walk at a time that suits you around a month before your day. If you live in another state, we can have a skype call, or facetime or even just a good old fashion phone call. I really just want to get a feel you both, learn about the things that you are excited about on your day, and become familiar with your intinerary and locations. I also start to follow you on your social media to get a glimpse into your lead up and a taste of your style and interests.
I use 2 x Nikon D780s (professional full frame DSLR) with professional grade lenses, I also am known to shoot some film on old cameras if this is something you may interested in.
Of course, a second photographer allows multiple angles at key moments like the bride walking down the aisle, it also allows a photographer with both groom and bridal groups pre-ceremony if they aren't close. (If they are close, I can
visit both camps on my own.) Everything is possible and negotiable, don't hesitate to ask to discuss extra photographer costs. I also have a videographer I can add on to your package.
No, I deliver the entire categorised gallery via a professional viewing software platform called Pixieset in both high resolution and web sized files, you can print each and everyone if you wish. You are able to easily make favourite lists, send to socials, and easily send the gallery to all your guests who can download and print at their own will (dont worry you can choose any image to be exclusively private to you as well so you can control which ones your auntie andunle get) I am a service to you and the images are all yours, no extra costs.
Good Question, it all depends on the length of the shoot and how busy I am at the time..
IVe been told Im pretty fast in returning my images, and I hope to have a 6 hour wedding shoot in front of you no later than 3-4 weeks post shoot, a As part of the service I will deliver you 25 images from across the day to your mobile within 24hrs so that you can share your professional images of your big day, and not the ones off your phone.
Yes, I use images from all my weddings for marketing, social media and on my website, I always carefully select images that I believe the couple are happy with. The images I take are also my property, as well as yours. However, I totally respect your wishes and I have had multiple weddings that have requested to have no photos showned publicly and thats how they have stayed.

Still thinking of your easy wedding lol, pardon the pun on this platform. Such a great day, it’s a photographers dream to see a couple having so much bloody fun and being 100% on board and surrendering to their wedding. You guys did just that and it shows. Thanks for the review and I look forward to catching up with you and the gang in the future. Happy life Coop x

Hahaha I love the driving part too, Uber Coop. Such a significant point in the day I think, transition from ceremony to reception, time for breather together, so many great moments in your gallery. Some real favourites of mine in there. You guys did such a stellar job of planning that day, nothing out of place but still natural and free flowing. Wishing you a great year and cheers for your time to drop this review. Coop x

Get Expert Advice3 Bridesmaids and no Groomsmen?? HELP
Hey, My HB does not want groomsmen but I want my 3 bridesmaids. How am I going to make this work without it looking weird with seating plans and photos?
Cooper Brady Photography
Ditto with everything Alexander has said already. Stick to what you want your day to be 100% and let your vendors navigate the challenges, they will have fun with it and it will make your images both true to who you are and how your day was as well as unique and different. Win win
Do wedding photographers generally do one style best?
Starting to look at wedding photographers and wondered whether they generally have a signature style that they do best or if we can show them inspiration and they can emulate it?
Cooper Brady Photography
Good question,
I agree with all the responses here already, I feel like they do to a degree, I feel a photographer style is a reflection of their own style, naturally gravitating to how they like to show a moment in time. Even if 2 different photographers identify as contempory or candid, or traditional or whatever description, they will always be different still, this is the beuty of photography, and why its really important to take your time choosing one. They will after all be capturing your memories, and you deserve to love them dearly.
Its easy these days with access to the web and socials at our fingertips. I recommend looking at website portfolios or even just a good old instagram scoll to get a feel for a photographers consintency, be it compositon (how things are framed), what they like to capture and even preferred edit pallettes.
Secondly meeting with the photographer is key, (or your favourite 2 or 3) and see which one you gel with best!
I hope this helps, best wishes, Coop
Should we have a first look?
Hi there. I can see lots of couples are having first looks. Is the first look a good idea? What's the best part about having a first look and what would be a reason not to do it, from a photography perspective? Thanks!
Cooper Brady Photography
Hi there, adding to the great responses already left here. Ive found the couples Ive photographed who have chosen to have a first look, to have found it a special moment, and it has shown in the images. These couples still enjoyed beautiful, emotional reactions at the isle.
I recommend having some private time together after the ceremony, a really valuable time to catch some fresh air together, have a laugh and a kiss privately as you are now married. A few minutes away from all the loving family and friends allows a reset to be able to return to the party and be present.

Thanks for your thoughtful words Jess, they all mean a lot to me, and you feeling at peace with my presence is probably the biggest compliment I can receive, because when that happens the wow images will come naturally. I LOVE the photos from your special day at Flaxton Gardens, including some of the ones of your guests, all tending to their tears of love for you and Kell, so much emotion on that day and Im really glad we were able to capture it all. Merry Xmas and I hope we can catch up in the new year sometime. Big love Coop
