Comparing Hollywood scripts, my life story is as average as they come. I was hoping to uncover some family history worthy of bragging rights, maybe even a dynasty like the Rothschilds. But nope, turns out my family tree is just as ordinary as the next.
My mom once told me that when I was born, the entire delivery room was filled with baby girls except for me. According to Chinese tradition, that meant I was supposed to be some kind of soul ferryman for this group of reincarnated souls. But now I realize, I was actually a cameraman.
I got my first camera in 2004. In 2007, I started learning photography from an old man. It wasn't until two years after I met him that I found out he was a very famous photographer in Hong Kong. It's like something out of a Hollywood script.
In 2011, I established my own photography studio in Sydney, and by 2013, I had relocated it to Brisbane. With my camera, I've captured countless moments of happiness, even preserving an entire family's precious memories - I photographed Lilian's wedding, and a decade later, I also had the honor of capturing her brother's special day.
Some people are fond of preaching, but I never do. I always say, I take photos not just for clients, but also for my own reputation.
About
Clients always complain that I strive for perfection in photography, putting them through quite an ordeal. However, when they see the final results, all complaints vanish. Yes, I do enjoy seeing that "suffering in silence" look on your faces. 😂
