How important are photo albums? :)
iShoot Images
A photo album is more of a personal choice rather than a 'must have' these days. All the weddings I have photographed have wanted digital delivery so that they can print the photos at a later stage or make their own book/album if they ever want it. We live in a world now where 99% of our photos are on our phone and computers rather than in albums or frames. From a photographers view, it's easier to not produce an album as the process can be very time consuming. It can also be frustrating for the couple, having to wait for the album to be finished.
So I don't think there is a right or wrong answer to your question; again it's down to personal choice. :)
Does the photographer drive themselves to the locations?
Would the photographer come with us or drive themselves?
iShoot Images
Yes the photographer should always drive themselves to the locations. As well as this the photographer should also visit all the locations prior to the wedding day and pick out the best areas to shoot; that way they can also work out where to position the couple, what lighting they may need to use and what kind of compositions can be achieved.
If the photographer drives themselves then there is little risk of them being held up waiting for other people to get into the car with them. There is nothing worse than waiting for slow moving people when you are on a deadline.
