Definitely the earlier the better. Speaking generally, if you want to book a specific wedding photographer (we hope you pick us), there is always the risk of limited availability as you get close to your big day. To alleviate as much stress as possible, it’s best to jump on the process as early as possible. For Tortellini Studios, we would recommend you reach out to us 12-18 months before the big day. This means we have ample time to sit down together and plan out all the details to match what you want from your photos. 

In saying that, if you’re sitting here reading thinking, “crap” because you’ve decided you want a photographer at the last minute, that’s not a worry for us. Send us a message as soon as you can and we can see what we can do!

Our prices start at $2,490 AUD which includes pretty much everything you need for your special day. Think:

• Unlimited hours of photography coverage on the day
• Images captured on high end professional camera equipment in high resolution
• Initial appointment and discussion of wedding day plans
• High resolution files on a USB and via a download link
• Editing and touch-ups including colour correction and exposure adjustment
• Images cropped and prepared for printing and sharing with loved ones
• Colour, black and white, and special professional photographic effects
• Preparation, ceremony, reception and on-location images

If you’re looking for additional services such as rushed shots in a 24/48/72hr tiem window and custom prints of select image(s), we charge an additional add-on fee, which is something we’ll discuss with you directly depending on your needs. 

Absolutely, you can customise the package to match exactly what your vision is. We discuss what this looks like in the initial appointment we set up with you. The more reference imagery, moodboards and ideas you come to the table with, the better we can make your special moment come to life.

Most of the time, our photographer will have a non-photographer assistant on the day. Typically the assistant helps the photographer to frame shots and engage with the subjects to make them feel as comfortable as possible (not everyone loves being in front of a camera). When the assistant is not required to help out, they can capture short-form videos on a mobile phone that are perfect for Instagram/Facebook reels and TikTok videos. This comes at no extra cost.

We provide the entire suite of edited imagery on a USB and via a download link. Both will be delivered to you on an agreed day after your wedding; generally around four weeks after the wedding days. If you’ve added rushed imagery to your package, this will also be delivered on the agreed day (24/48/72 hours post-wedding).
