OVERVIEW
My passion has been photography from a very young age… in 1996 I started Art Vogue Photography, initially as a hobby, now it has evolved and developed into a business. I have a background in Electronics, and recently left the corporate world to pursue my passion - love for photography.
Each occasion is different, so I take the time to understand your individual needs and requirements. I will bounce around options and ideas, together we’ll develop a plan for your special day. If necessary we’ll walk around the sites together.
I mostly work around the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, also doing weddings in the Dandenong Ranges, Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula.

Importantly I first listen to your requirements and wishes, together we’ll plan out the day, locations and type of photos required. My style is generally natural and romantic when we do the glamor shots on location. During the ceremony and formal proceedings I’m unintrusive to record the moments in a documentary style, later with a few posed shots. Afterwards, we’ll do the traditional formal family, group and bridal party portraits. At the reception I tend to do lots of candid shots having fun.
I am based in Vermont South; most of my weddings are in the eastern suburb of Melbourne, including Yarra Valley, Dandenong Rangers and Mornington Peninsular. For location greater than 2 hour drive a fee is charged just to cover the additional expense and time. Country or Interstate travel is possible, covering expenses of return flights, accommodation for a minimum of 2 nights, and car hire or taxi expenses if required.

For packages with reception coverage a meal would be appreciated, this gives me a short break to reenergise and then power through the rest of the evening for you.
I shoot with Nikon equipment; normally carry two cameras during the wedding with different lenses. I use a Nikon D750 as the main camera with others as backups.
If I had the ability to pick the weather, a cloudy overcast day would be best. But, we can work with glaring sunlight and raining conditions, we’ll adapt to different situations. If there’s torrential rain we should have an undercover or indoor location planned. The best time for great shots is late afternoon about one hour before sunset, photographers call that the “golden hour”.
