The Crystal Clear Photography packages are affordable and comprehensive, with the option to choose a full-day or half-day package depending on the length of your wedding. Both packages include a pre-wedding consultation with Crystal, a personal online photo gallery and store, a sneak peek of the photo highlights within 48 hours, and professional editing.

Hi! Nice to meet you, I'm Crystal :) A bit about me... I'm originally from South East Queensland, but now proudly call Geelong my home. I have over 10 years experience as a hobby photographer, as well as 3+ years in the professional industry. Photography isn't just a job for me - I do what I love and love what I do. My cat Possum, and parakeet Ziggy, mean the world to me. I consider myself to be a friendly introvert. My dream is to photograph a wedding overseas. I am a self confessed nerd.

Professional editing is included in your package. For all my images, I make appropriate tone, colour and exposure corrections. I also add my stylised look to all the photos and remove any distracting elements in the background such as those pesky, neon green exit signs.

Get Expert AdviceIs it normal to pay photographers in full before the actual wedding day?
Just wondering if it is standard practice to pay vendors in full for services such as photography prior to the actual wedding day?

Yes, this has been standard practice for a number of years. I find it works best for everyone involved, and especially for the couple. The last thing I want is for the couple to be stressing about finances on their wedding day. At Crystal Clear Photography, we take the final payment 14 days beforehand, and so do many other vendors, meaning you can spend the last couple weeks looking forward to your big day without the stress. There are so many things on your mind in the leadup, why not tick another item off the list?
Another thing to note is that us photographers are always beyond excited to get home to edit some of our favourite images ready for a sneakpeak reveal. Having the payment already made in full means we don't have to delay - we can put our heads down and get straight to work. There is nothing sinister about a photographer asking for full payment before the day. It's simply so we can streamline the process and get the photos back to you as soon as possible :)

How long do I actually need a photographer for?
I've had a couple of quotes (varying from $1,500-$4,500). What's the overall difference between a 2k, 3k and 4k package? First-time bride here. Any help is appreciated!

How long you want the photographer there for really depends on you as a couple and what is important to you. Perhaps you wish to have them there to capture every precious moment and memory, or perhaps you just wish to have the ceremony documented. The choice is yours - and that is why we often offer a variety of packages. Every couple is different, and that's the beauty of it.
To give a little further insight however, let's break down a typical wedding day:
Getting ready photos - 2 hours with bride, 1 hour with groom
Ceremony and family photos - 1 hour
Photos of the bride and groom - 1-2 hours
Reception photos - 3 hours
Travel time - 1 hour
If you would like the photographer there to capture everything, you are typically looking at 9-10 hours.
The reason why price can vary so much depending on the length of coverage is because the longer the photographer is there, the more photos they will take and the more they will have to edit also. Other factors that can influence price are: experience of the photographer, whether print products are included, number of photos that are delivered, additional photographers, quality of photography gear, etc.
