OVERVIEW
Living on Victoria’s stunning coast, Alex’s love for photography grew from his passion for the ocean. When he eventually transitioned into wedding photography, he brought with him an ability to be inspired by the real moments that occur naturally. His documentary-style pictures capture candid and real emotions, and he often leaves weddings feeling like he’s part of the family.
“Alex is a relaxed guy who fit perfectly into our wedding vibe! We weren’t sure what we wanted from a wedding photographer but from our first interactions and meeting we knew he would be the perfect fit! He scouted our venue and surrounds before our big day and had some ideas for shots which made our day even more relaxing! He was an absolute professional and captured some beautiful candid moments which we will treasure for a lifetime.” Clair P
Alex loves to travel and is often called upon to shoot weddings in Melbourne and beyond. In his own words, he’ll go “wherever love may take me...can't believe I just said that!”. A self-proclaimed chatterbox, Alex loves to meet new people and knows just how to set them at ease in front of the camera. His easygoing nature will get you feeling relaxed and up for a bit of fun!

“From the first chats we had with Alex we felt he really understood us. Not only does he have a wonderfully creative eye, he also has a lovely warm presence that made everyone relaxed and comfortable, which comes through in the photos. By the end of our wedding we were sad to say goodbye to him as we felt he had become part of our family. If you need a great wedding photographer - you’ve found him.” Boyd P
About
My photography begun in my late teens and grew alongside a love of travelling for surf and snow. I emigrated from England to Torquay, Australia, when I was 26. By living on the surfcoast, and pushing my surf photography (see website and Insta), I soon grew relationships with local people and their businesses, becoming involved as a local photographer. Weddings seemed to find me, but I have found the whole experience highly rewarding. Now at 31, my business has been alive since 2018

FAQ
Hell yes - love is love! My pronouns are he/him. I hold the LGBTQIA+ community close to my heart and it kills me when I see prejudice to this day. With the legalisation of same sex weddings only arriving to Australia in 2017, I want to capture your wedding day and put it up in lights for the world to see!
I absolutely love weddings set along the beachy Surf Coast and in the Forrests around The Otways and Macedon Ranges. Basically I love beautiful outdoor settings!
Definitely relaxed! I believe in capturing real moments so prefer a Candid approach...
I have sculpted packages for almost every occasion, starting with small Elopements and ending with the full shenanigans!
Nope - I hate clock watching! My packages are sculpted around what couples want out of their photography, so I'll stay untill I get it all!
Yes definitley! It's not necessary but I love to meet couples for a coffee/chat before a deposit is made. This way I can provide a more formal quotation with any special requests clearly listed. I then like to meet closer to the wedding day to run through finer details and allow a relaxing day.
All I ask for is a run sheet or similar. It's also really good to provide a list of who you want photographs with so that we can tick them off over the day and avoid forgetting people in the moment.
Yes I can't recommend this enough! I personally hand design ' Coffee Table' Wedding Albums that are beautifully modern and classy, and can lay flat. They can sit on your coffee table or be opened up and displayed on a book stand. Albums are perfect for telling the story of your day and there is nothing better than having something to hold and flick through - you will cherish it I promise!
Not usually! Unless I start getting too far from home and then it's only a minimal charge.

Hello! Great question, I've seen this pop up a few times. In my opinion, your wedding day should be as you want it. If you want 3 bridesmaids, and your partner doesn't want any groomsmen, then don't even think about losing any of the girls - you'll regret it. A good photographer will come up with great ideas for any photo shoots, so don't even worry about that. A bloke surrounded by girls can make for some fun photos!
With regards to seating plan and speech photos, have you considered not necessarily having a bridal party table? So the two of you could either sit separately, or on a larger group table with bridesmaids and close friends / family. The latter is sometimes nice, as you get to spend time with your loved ones, and 'titles' don't matter so much. If you want to have a more traditional bridal table, just ask the photographer to get wide shots of you all, and also tight shots of just you and your partner. Speakers always get a solo shot too. It all comes together in the photo album :)
Hope this helps!
