She started in 2017 shooting portraits before eventually transitioning to wedding photography and family/maternity portraits.

Cat prides herself on giving directions and having lots of laugh-out-loud moments if you're nervous or awkward in front of the camera. This helps couples feel at ease. FAQ

How long have you been shooting?

I've been exploring photography since 2017. What started out as a hobby, quickly (and to my delight) became a paid occupation. I've shot lots of portrait work, yoga studio's for their websites, expectant women and more recently, weddings - which I love.

Do you travel?

Absolutely I travel! I live on the mid north coast of NSW Australia in a green little suburb called Yarravel (near Crescent Head). If your destination is within one hour drive, I include that in my price. Outside of an hour, depending on where you are and what is required I.e will I need to stay overnight, I charge a flat rate of $50/hour to cover fuel/accommodation if needed.

I'm awkward in front of the camera - help!

So am I! This is no problem. I pride myself on giving direction and having lots of LOL's with you. It should be a fun experience, not serious. Most shots are candid - you wont even know I'm there apart from portraits where I will fully direct you so you have nothing to worry about.

You took alot of photos on the day, can we have them all?

I'm definitely a woman of quality over quantity. Especially for weddings, you don't need three different angles of the forks. The photos I pick out and edit are the best images I have carefully selected for their composition, lighting, everyone has their eyes open. Generally, for weddings and elopements, you should receive your images within 6-8 weeks (possibly earlier) with a sneak peak within one week. For other shoots, within 2 weeks.
