Boudoir Studio is a home-based photographic studio in Cairns. Owner Catherine Coombs has created a service that empowers women in a relaxed and fun environment. Everything we do is aimed at making your experience memorable and special.

A boudoir shoot is designed to capture the beauty of who you are and will be a memorable wedding day gift for your groom.
A shoot at Boudoir Studio is completely stress free. Our experienced Hair and Make-up team are on hand, as is Catherine the head photographer.

Hi, I am Catherine Coombs the Head Photographer at Boudoir Studio. I discovered a passion for photography and dark room processing in high school when film was all the rage and digital hadn't been invented yet. I work out of my home based studio to create amazing boudoir photographs of brides-to-be. I'd love to work for you on a concept that both you and your groom will love. All photo shoots with Boudoir Studio include professional Hair and Make-up services.
You can view and select your images 30 minutes after the photo shoot.
Editing and printing of the images takes about 2 weeks.
Of course you can – I understand this can be a bit of a nerveracking experience.
We are a bit limited for space though, so just bring one friend, and let me know in advance that they’ll be joining you.
Give them fair warning that they might end up as my assistant holding lights or fans!
