I want to fill my days with love, that’s why I love taking photos of weddings. I want to tell the story of the day, those secret looks between siblings, parents or couples, natural laughs and funny moments that would otherwise be forgotten. Even the sad moments are good to remember, they make the story whole. Memories are made from the times when we realise just how much we love each other, even with all our bad bits! As we all know, you can't choose your family, but they make you who you are.

I work by myself. But believe me, I am everywhere!
I only do smaller wedding of between 20 to 100 people. Any more than that, you would need 2 photographers to capture everything.
I speak English, Afrikaans and Australian fluently. But I have worked with many families who do not speak English and we have communicated perfectly.
A basic package normally takes me about 2 weeks to 3 weeks to edit. If it looks like it will take longer I communicate this very well with the couple and they have constant updates as to my progress.
If you chose to get the USB with the images only then I will post it to you as soon as I've done editing. However, If you choose products, that would take longer.

Hi, I alwyas get myself to all the venues, unless I think that riding with the couple in their transport would make great photos. Even in that instance, I would not rely on them for transport. I would charge a travel fee, if it's 15km from my base.
Do photographers like to have a photo list from the couple?

I always work off a "must-have" list. This way, I know that I meet the couples expectations and then after that I make sure that I get those candid, funny, emotional, joyfull and artistic photos that tell the story of the whole day.
Is there anything I can do if I don't like how my wedding photo's are edited?
JvB Photography
For sure! You just contact me (this is how I work) and I can change the look, feel, composition etc. I shoot in RAW, so any amount of change can be made.
