I was wondering whether it's normal to get two sets of photos, like, all the original ones and then the edited ones? Do we pick the ones to be edited or does the photographer do that?
Is a wedding album worth it?
Not sure about this. Thinking we might just do our own wedding album online but then again, we're not very creative. And do all photographers do albums or would we be finding our own company for it?

110% yes. Having all of your photos in one central place with high quality paper and binding is truly one of the best things to take away from your wedding day. Rather than only having a few photos up on your walls in frames, having all of them kept in a tangible album on your coffee table, book shelf or bedside table is definitely worth the cost at the end of the day.
Most photographers will either create the album for you, or will have a service built into your client gallery.
How long do I actually need a photographer for?
I've had a couple of quotes (varying from $1,500-$4,500). What's the overall difference between a 2k, 3k and 4k package? First-time bride here. Any help is appreciated!

This generally comes down to your budget and how much of your wedding day you want documented.
Personally, we find that most people opt to cover the whole day (from getting ready to late night celebrations), as they have already spent a fair amount on decorations, food, the venue, etc. and why not have photos to show how it all tied together. Most of the couples who don't opt for full day coverage end up extending by a few hours on the day as well.
Each photographer's package will vary based on their years of experience in the industry and what is included in their full package, such as unlimited images or a set number.

Most photographers will only provide the edited versions to you. The raw photos will usually be quite flat and aren't really used for much outside of editing by the photographer - they form the base for what you will be receiving and won't look anything like the ones you have seen on their website, social media, etc.
In most cases, your photographer will deliver the best photos from the day and will cull the ones that are unusable (eg. blinking or unflattering faces). Feel free to ask your photographer if you can select the photos instead of them, but it's not usually the norm.
