I am Ash, the creator and photographer at ivory & rose. I love, love, love wedding day details!

I can’t describe the excitement I feel when meeting beautiful couples and families who are creating some of the happiest moments of their lives together. I love capturing the unique excitement of my brides as they prepare with their Maids & Mum on their Big Day….I love the heightened nerves of a groom practising his vows twenty minutes before the ceremony….hearing the proud words of parents in their wedding speeches….seeing the happy tears of loving grandparents…and toddlers in the most stylish little suits & dresses!

Beyond all of these wonderful moments, my passion lies deeply with making images!! Not only as a photographer, but as an artist in general, there is nothing that I love more than to create a magical moment when light, colour and composition come together to create a stunning visual. To me, each & every photograph that we create is a precious piece of art – beautiful moments in time that can forever hang on the wall of your home or in the delicate pages of your wedding album.

With every image that I make I am always thinking of the end product – as there is nothing I want more, than for each couple to fall in love again & again just by looking at their photos and thinking back to this beautiful time in their lives.
