If I wanted to extend by an hour or two are they usually flexible? Looking in birs, qld for a photog if you know any :)

Depends on how the company works.
Some don't have a set fee per hour... sometimes it's just the full package amount at the end of the day.
Like myself, I don't like to over price myself. But don't ever under sell myself.
I'd like to say many photographers are, but then in saying that It's a 50/50 when it comes to flexiablity. All depends on the company at the end of the day. I am very flexiable.
how much is a good wedding photographer in brisbane?
I've been quoted cheap prices (1500) and expensive prices (5500). does it mean the photographer is better if their price is higher?

Price should be something to consider, but don't be put off by cheaper photographers either.
As many can bring very good quality, service and skills.
I like tp put myself on a pedstool as a photographer.
I try work in with my clients and do afforable prices starting from $999.
What is an appropriate budget for a photographer?!
I want the beautiful photos and my H2B wants the long coverage and we just can't seem to find the 'perfect' fit within our budget, we have set aside $3000 for photography AND videography and i am beginning to feel like this is not enough for what we want... Most photographers I have inquired too cost from $2500+. Is it possible to find a photographer that will meet both our needs within our price range, or is it too low? Any experience with how to handle this would be much appreciated.

Having been in the wedding industry for a couple of years now. I have noticed the vast varitey with prices. I believe $1000-2000 is a great price range to start if you are looking for something afforable , yet the perfect package to take those priceless shots which isn't over the top and not leaving you with a hole in your pocket at the end of the day.
