OVERVIEW
Lost in a Daze Photo Co. is the wedding photography business of Camden local, James Gough. A married man himself, James fell in love with wedding photography after his own wedding all those years ago, and now spends his time capturing romantic weddings full-time - all across the country, too.
A real travel buff, James thoroughly enjoys travelling Australia to capture the moments he considered golden, especially the “real moments and real emotion” at weddings. His photography style certainly does focus on genuine interactions and heartfelt moments, and James enjoys snapping these when no one is looking.
As a result, James delivers gorgeous, emotional wedding photos that will look lovely as a canvas print or in a wedding album, which he is happy to supply for you!
“Where do I begin with how amazing James is ... On the day of the wedding, James became family. He was so involved in every part and managed to capture moments I didn’t even realise he was taking. He stole the heart of our kids and added so much to our day. The photos are beyond stunning - the perfect mix of candid and artistic. We will be so proud to display them around our home. There aren’t enough words to say how highly I would recommend James. He is truly the salt of the earth with a huge amount of talent.” Kim

About
I’m a husband and father, My love for photography started 7 years ago when travelling the world with my darling other half. Iceland, Tokyo and Berlin are my happiest of places. And then when I got married, I had an out of body experience - I got lost in a daze if you will - where I sat back, took everything in and said to myself that this is what I want to do - I want to capture this same happiness and joy for others all over the world.

Hey Hayley,
I normally explain to my couples that there is realisticlly 10-15 photos you'll always use and everything else is storytelling.
Your main photos imo would be..
- Wide shot of the ceremony
- The couple during the ceremony
- First kiss
- Family photos (I don't feel like we put as much value in these anymore but i always get them because they will never not be special)
- At least 3-5 from your portraits (Let's face it these are the money shots we all want)
- Key family members or friends (i find this out before the wedding day an put a little extra focus on them)
- First dance
Everything else should be aimed at storytelling so when you look back through your gallery you're brought right back to the day. I generally get asked to get as many candid of everyone as possible so more often than not thats my focus.
