When do I have to pay the whole amount?

The full amount is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding. I'm also happy to help with a payment plan.

Have you ever cancelled a booking or not shown up to a wedding?

Never ever ever! And I plan on keeping it that way. If for some reason I really could not shoot your wedding for what ever reason, I do have a backup plan for that situation.

FAQ

What is SAMA? Is it a group of people or a soul trader?

SAMA is primarily run by Sabrina (me) and is put together of my first and last name (Sabrina Maschke), but I regularly partner up with other creatives. The business has a couple of regular second shooters for weddings etc.

Where are you based?

I'm originally from Germany, but I now call Adelaide, South Australia home. I am occasionally on the road and overseas, so it is worth asking where I am around the time of your wedding. You never know, I might be in your area!

Do you shoot with a second photographer? Or do you ever have an assistant?

I sometimes use a second shooter. It depends on the size and complexity of the wedding. A second shooter is available for most weddings at a separate fee. I sometimes use an assistant, I will notify you before bringing anyone to your wedding.

I want some of my photographs to be exclusive and not used on the website. Is that a problem?

Not at all. I have a password protected area on my website. Everything can be private if that is what you wish. If you wish that no photos of you will be published on my socials or website, please let me know and I'll make sure of that.

How much is the deposit? Is it refundable and how quick will I have to pay it?

It is advisable to pay the deposit as soon as you make your final decision, to secures the date for your booking. The deposit is 25% and is non refundable. But don't worry, if for any reason you have to postpone your wedding, the deposit will be held and used to secure your next date.

From start to finish, one of the best. My (now) wife and I were inundated with trying to organise our wedding whilst both working full time, and it was such a pleasure to work with Sabrina and her team. Clear and frequent communication from the beginning, and she was always taking care of what we wanted as a couple. She made it very transparent to tell her and the team what was important to us, and to leave it to her - important photos and video moments we wanted were all considered. Though on the day we didn’t personally have Sabrina, her team were both professional but clearly enjoyed being there, too. You caught moments where they were laughing at speeches or enjoying the entertainment. Really added to the atmosphere. They were also very accommodating to last minute schedule changes. The finished product - photos and short film - were also of the highest standard, and captured everything we wanted. I cannot recommend SAMA highly enough and will be forwarding them on to our next batch of friends getting married!

My partner and I knew we wanted to shake up what a ‘traditional wedding’ was and put a different spin on our special day. We decided on an intimate ceremony with our immediate family and friends, and later that night celebrate with our wider loved ones at our Engagement Party turned Surprise Reception! Photography was always going to be a special part of our day, being able to relive our ceremony with those who weren’t there. Our vision of the day was that of fun, colour and of course love. After stumbling cross Sabrina on Instagram we knew this was who we wanted to capture our special day. Her modern take on wedding photos and experience with editorial work was exactly what we were after. Walking away from our face to face meeting with Sabrina, we knew we had hit the jackpot. Her easy going nature and excitement around our wedding day and theme was evident – we loved being able to bounce ideas off of her for photography locations and overall vibes. If we find our dream photographer, what happens if they're sick on the day and can't photograph our wedding? Would they send a replacement or how does that work?
