Yes! We wanted to curate something that had everything required for a great celebration. Our package includes 2 powered speakers, 2 sound-activated lights, a wireless microphone and all of the DJ equipment. This package is perfect for a wedding of up to 200 guests.
Absolutely! This is your special event and we encourage you to steer the musical journey for the wedding. The fantastic thing about this is that everyone has their own preferences, and the songs you choose really personalise your event. We sit down with you to pick songs for your entrances, cake cutting, first dance, exit and anything else that comes to mind.
Yes! We love when guests make requests as it gets everyone involved in the celebration. But don't worry, our DJs are professionals and know when and how to bring in song requests to ensure the music is flowing seamlessly throughout the reception.
Most songs are discussed prior to the big day to ensure a smooth reception. Songs for formalities like entrances and the bridal waltz will already be confirmed. However, in the rare event that a guest makes a request and the DJ doesn't have the track, we have a 'Plan B'. The fantastic thing about the time we're living in is that technology is on our side! Our Wedding DJs have access to online music libraries, enabling us to source this for you on the fly.
Unfortunately, no. But there's a good reason for this! We used to provide this service but we found out that it's very hard to be able to do two big and important tasks at the same time. Couples also provided this feedback to us also, and recommended the DJ and MC do their jobs individually. The reason is that this allow being a Wedding DJ and MC requires attention all over the place. This can actually play a huge risk during key moments like your wedding entrances. We’ve seen this first-hand where the performer had focused on the names and pronunciation. This caused a delay in playing songs and even playing the wrong songs. Hi there!
Thanks for reaching out and great question! For entertainment (whether its live music or a DJ package) we suggest booking as early as possible to guarantee availability. As with most wedding vendors, October through to December can often be the busiest time of the year.
However for DJs, we would normally recommend booking at least 2 months in advance. This is to ensure we have ample opportunity to discuss music preferences and any other special requirements you may have for the day.
As for live music, we would suggest booking at least 3 months in advance. This will allow our musicians to incorporate any song requests you may have for key moments throughout the ceremony and/or reception.
At the moment, we currently offer DJ, Solo Acoustic and Acoustic Duo services.

How many people usually give speeches at the wedding reception?

Do musicians charge by the hour?
I am thinking of booking a singer to sing our entrance song only and wondering musicians charge by the hour?I already have a pianist and violinist and feel I would like it if a musician would also play the song.I am based in Adelaide for a winter wedding.

To give some insight from the DJ world, it can vary. Some DJs will charge by the hour, and some will charge packages 'for the night'. However, most people will have a requirement for a 'minimum amount of hours'.
