When putting together a playlist of songs that will get your guests up and dancing at your reception, it is always good to go with some party standards like Nutbush, Grease Megamix, I wanna dance with somebody, Blame it on the boogie etc. We always like to have a few party songs that the couple remember from their own collection depending on the year they were born things like We like to party by the Venga Boys is very popular and also old school RnB. It is always important to our DJ's and Musician's to get a feel for what the Bride and Grooms own taste of music is and than we will create playlists off those. We will also change to suit the guests during the night for example if the standard Nutbush is not getting any attention but the guests are dancing to some good old fashioned Pub Rock we will try to play a little more of that during the night to keep them up dancing. Always make sure you work with your DJ to ensure they know exactly what you are wanting from them for the night and that they can deliver the exact party vibe you wish to achieve.
