Hi, my name is Alan Lyle-Stirling and I am the owner of PRODISCOS. I have in excess of 30 years industry experience and my passion is making my clients night everything they could wish for from a musical point of view. At PRODISCOS we can provide a range of options including DJ and MC combined, canape and ceremony music and of course a wonderful vibe within the reception room with our range of music and lighting. Prices can vary according to our clients requirements.

FAQ

Can we choose our own music?

Yes you are welcome to have as much input as you wish regarding music selections. At PRODISCOS we realise how important this special day is to our clients and encourage their input to ensure a wonderful outcome on the night.

Can we meet our DJ/MC before our wedding

Yes we actively suggest a pre wedding meeting, especially if the MC service is also booked. It is so important to get the details correct and for our clients to be comfortable in the knowledge that everything will go according to plan on the night.

Can we extend the booking hours for our reception?

Yes you can, providing it is approved by the venue first. An appropriate fee would be added to the final bill.

Are your DJ's and MC's experienced?

At PRODISCOS we are a small team of highly experienced professionals. All of us have a minimum of 20 plus years in the industry working to a very high standard. This is why we are the preferred supplier to several of Bowrals 5 star venues.

What sort of equipment to you provide?

At PROISCOS we use only the highest quality equipment which includes PA systems by EV, QSC AND RCF. All our shows are neat and professional with the option of back light DJ booth, up lighting and dance floor effects to get the party started.

We couldn't have been happier with the incredible service we received from Alan at our wedding at Centennial Vineyards. From start to finish, he was fantastic to work with. He made the whole process so easy, taking all the stress out of planning the music and handling every detail with such care and expertise. The energy he created throughout the day was phenomenal. I can't recommend Pro discos highly enough, Alan and his team know how to make your occasion one to remember, not only for you but for your guests also. Our night was filled with fantastic music that catered for all ages, the dance floor was packed, even with people who don't normally dance, like me!. Alan was monumental in listening to our needs and understanding our selection of music for our wedding, but also, with his experience, adding music that we had never even thought of using. Alan, you have made our wedding one that will be talked about for years to come with the music and atmosphere you created on our special night, I cannot thank you enough.

Alan was a fantastic DJ at our wedding in the Southern Highlands. He was lovely to work with in the lead up to the big day and was always available to chat things through when needed. All of our guests have since said that they loved the dance floor and believed it was a highlight of the night. Alan was an absolute lifesaver! We had our DJ pull out the week before our wedding and Alan came to the rescue. Let me tell you - the day would not have run how it did without him! He made sure we were where we needed to be at all times, and made suggestions to our run sheet the week before which made our wedding run even smoother. The dance floor always had someone on it thanks to Alan's playlist and taking suggestions. I can not suggest Alan more, he is one of the best MCs and DJs out there. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

This is one area that I really do suggest some deeper thinking on behalf of the bride. It is such an important part of the occasion and very much a personal choice. Too many bland and boring standards out there that really don't lift the moment to the level it deserves. Try to find something that resonates with you both as a couple.

What's the best way to incorporate Greek and English music at our reception?

Hi there. My partner is Greek, and I'm Aussie, and our guest list reflects roughly half and half. Wanting to ensure both cultures are represented and have a great time. How best to include music for each so everyone has fun?

I have had to do this many times over the years with a variety of cultural backgrounds. The key for me was firstly chatting to the couples and getting them to advise on specific songs that are popular. Then break it down into a couple of short sets rather than just randomly throwing songs into the mix. It has worked well for me over many years and the response on the dance floor has been terrific.

Do you charge more for New Year's Eve weddings?

Wondering if there are surcharges on bands/djs for weddings on special dates like this. We're thinking of a NYE wedding.
