FAQ

Will it be the same musicians (Hein & Ebony) I have seen and heard who perform at my event?

Yes absolutely!

The only reason we would ever ever have to get somebody else to stand in is if (knock on wood) one of us was too unwell to perform.

Will you learn a song for our first dance?

Yes! Depending on the package you choose, we are willing to learn up to 4 songs that aren't already a part of our repertoire.

How long will you play and what happens during breaks?

This is totally depending on the package you choose. Our most popular package is 3 hours (Ceremony, Canape Cocktail hour & Dinner) of live music with short breaks in between in which we will play background music using a curated playlist and then 4+ hours of us DJing non stop right to the end of your night!

Can we have some input into the play list?

Absolutely, we actually encourage this!

We have an extensive live music repertoire and an even larger DJ repertoire, that we send out to you to choose from.

What do we need to provide for you?

We will need a space to set up with an electrical supply, your runsheet so we can make sure to be on top of your schedule and have our music playing accordingly and we super appreciate a staff/vendor meal organised pre event if you book us for 4+ hours.

Look no further, you've found the perfect wedding duo! From the beginning to the end of our wedding journey, Ebony and Hein worked with us on the complex logistics and were super reasonable, flexible and trustworthy. Besides being outrageously talented, they are good people who are professional, kind and genuinely care about giving you quality in their music and performance. Somehow, the way they played and sang with such authenticity made the experience on our wedding day feel completely unique to us. I will never forget walking down the aisle to them delicately playing “Can’t Help Falling in Love’ it was full of emotion, which they completely encouraged. In addition to learning a new song for our first dance, they also BROUGHT THE PARTY by DJing their little hearts out and filling the dancefloor. ax. The whole night day and night was perfect - thank you!!

We hired Monday Lane for our wedding for both acoustic music & DJ’ing and we will forever sing their praises! Not only are they both incredibly talented & professional, they are such warm & friendly people too. The kind of people you want surrounding you on your wedding day. The music for our wedding was important to us & from the very first message exchange we had with Ebony, we knew we were in safe hands. Their repertoire is extensive (we actually picked our entrance song based on their version after we heard them play it) but they also learnt some of our favourite songs for the day which will forever be so special to us. To top if off, they absolutely killed the DJ set, we didn’t leave the dancefloor & neither did any of our guests. No one wanted the night to end!! Highly recommend Monday Lane!

Right from the beginning Eb and Hein were an absolutely delight to deal with, from the pre-wedding meet ups to the email correspondence to of course, the main event with the wedding. Their repertoire is extraordinary and the fact that learnt 4 new songs chosen by us made the day extra special and extremely personalised our big day as the music represented us as a couple. Then to have them DJ was, excuse the pun, but it truly was the icing on the cake as they looked like they were having as much fun as us & kept our guests, including our son dancing all night!!! I would have absolutely no hesitation with recommending Monday Lane, they are purely a brilliant couple and their voices are breathtaking.

What an incredibly talent couple! We came across Monday Lane while trying to find a musician that suited our style of music and were blown away by their voices. We already knew some of Hein Cooper's music and felt so lucky to have him and Ebony play at our wedding. Their live music set brought all the best and happy vibes during canapes and dinner, and then their DJ set made sure there were people on the dancefloor at all time. They brought so much fun to the day, and went above and beyond ahead of the wedding to ensure they played all the songs we wanted and to made sure they had all the information so everything ran smoothly. I wish I could listen to them play live everyday! Was one of our highlights of the day!
