Whether it is a wedding for 30 or a grand wedding for 300, we offer 3 great Wedding DJ packages to choose from, including a professional Wedding DJ MC service.

What a great day! Let us be there for you, too. Our style of DJ entertainment has been refined and tailored for all kinds of events.

Our style is elegant and classy, and at the same time, incredibly fun. (Be sure to bring comfortable shoes.) Your guests will talk about the fun they had for years.

Most of our DJ service we perform are wedding receptions. We have performed everything from very formal black tie receptions to casual outdoors BBQ receptions.

We treat each wedding reception as a special and unique event. We work with our brides & grooms to capture their vision for a wedding and the type of entertianment they would like to have.

Before the wedding, we would typically meet them and discuss the music, itinerary, and announcements to occur.

We also have comprehensive list of all songs made for wedding and the Brides & grooms let us know their favorite songs and pick music for special events like the first dance, father/daughter dance, bouquet and garter toss, etc.

Perfect receptions do not happen accidentally, They are very carefully planned with attention to detail to make it a success.

Worst DJ Experience Ever (0 Stars) This DJ ruined our $8,000 event! After asking us to spend hours creating a Spotify playlist, he showed up with CDs and claimed he didn’t have Spotify. He awkwardly switched between bad CDs and a free Spotify account with ads. He ignored feedback from over 20 guests begging for more upbeat music—honestly, a funeral would have had a better vibe. It took my aunty begging him to play classics like the Macarena to stop people from leaving, and when he finally gave in, everyone danced. He had to be mentored by guests on how to do his job! On top of that, he drank from our bar tab without permission (the bar cut him off), ate our catering, and even rode the mechanical bull during his shift. To top it off, his creepy demeanor made guests uncomfortable. He promised a refund but, after 3 months of excuses, never delivered. Avoid this dodgy, unprofessional DJ at all costs!

Lawrence did an awesome job with the music at our wedding. He was very organised and even helped to edit our wedding first dance song so the length was just right. He was a great DJ and music seamlessly flowed on the night. Would highly recommend the services at Starlight DJ!

Do I need an MC?

Starlight DJ

If your family or friends can do an MC that would be great, usually most DJ's perform MC duties.
MC's are important to run things smoothly making timely announcements of formalities.
Professional MC are required if you are running a big event.

Does it matter if I'm not having dancing at my wedding?

I don't have a dance floor and my wedding is during the day :)

You don't have to be dancing to have a good time, dancing is just one portion of the wedding. If people are swaying to music and having a ball of a time then it's a sucessful wedding. Don't stress about it if guest want to dance they will find a way to do it.

is it bad luck to play break up songs at weddings?

some of my favourite songs are sad lol, do you often have couples ask you to play non-love songs?
