How much does your service cost? And what do we get in the DJ package?

My DJ service fee for the average 5 hour wedding is $900. If you would like to have me act as an MC the fee will be $1200. The basic DJ package includes 2 powerful 15 " Speakers, 1 x Pionner CD2000 music controller, 1 wireless Roving microphone, 1 Gig Bar move which has 6 lighting effects and a laser light , 1 x UV light and 2 x UP lights shone up the speakers for extra eye candy (visual effect) . To add extra base Sub woofers can be added at $75 each. Extra lihgtin such as UP lights to enhance the atmosphere of the venue are $150 extra. The 360 degre tubes x 4 are an extra $100. Extra time is calculated at $200 per hour.

How long have you been doing this professionally?

I started off DJaying as hobbie at Footscray Institue Of Technology in the late 80s , in the social room at the age of 18. I performed at a few friends parties for a number of years and turned professional in 2001. I have performed at 1025 functions with over 200 of them being weddings.

Will you personally be the DJ /MC at our wedding?

Yes I will be your DJ /MC. I am a one man show, no third paty DJ or subcontractors coming in to do your gig. From the initial consultation to the final farewell song I will be performing at your wedding. This way you know exactly who you are going to get, which creates less anxiety on your special day.

What sets you apart from your competition?

My professionalism, my excellent people skils and my unique ability to read and engage with the audience. I do not sit there adjusting my base, treble and fader like other young teenage DJs these days. I actually entertain the crowd!

Here is a simple example. When a person comes up to the DJ booth and asks me for a particular song, I always ask for their name. As I mix in the requested song, I send a shout out to that person, " This tracks going out to Crystal !" Their facial expresion says it all. :)

Seeing and hearing the audience have an entertaining time, is what drives me at my functions.

Do you have actual video footage of weddings that you have personally performed at?

Yes I do. I have a number of videos on this platform and if you go to my website at www.movingmelodies.biz you will see many other videos from my hundreds of functions.

Yes I do. I have dozens of clients that will vouch for me. There is nothing like talking to a satified client that will tell you exaclty what you are going to receive on your wedding day.

Throughout the lead up to our wedding Gideon made us feel calm and stress free. His easy going attitude was infectious. He did a very good job of getting the wedding celebration started and kept the vibe up by playing all the classic songs. Our guests loved the music and how awesome it was. Gideon was the perfect DJ and MC for our wedding!
