What are your wedding band prices and packages?

Prices and packages depends on your specific needs & requirements on your special day. Usually, the best & most effective process is to set up a consultation between the bride & groom and band leader. This will allow us to fine tune and tailor suit our J&CO packages to your specific needs & personal preference. Once this has been done we can then generate a quote that you are already absolutely happy with.

Do you offer both ceremony and reception music?

At J&CO TALENT we cater for any type of event therefore we are able to present to you different types of outfits, both for the ceremony and the reception.

Jimi and his band made our reception unforgettable. The music they played on our wedding night was breathtaking and guests spoke highly of the band and the quality of music they provided. Myself is also a musician and I was very picky with music on our wedding day, but Jimi listened to my requests carefully and made everyone happy! My parents loved the music played at our wedding and asked me if the band has own cd. Highly recommend, The band will not disappoint you.

I had booked J&Co Talent for some live music being played in the foyer, for my friends' wedding night. All the guests were treated to some amazing music whilst they had their canopies and pre drinks. They were able to play suggested songs that the bride and groom chose, very professional, on time, and kept the guests well entertained.

Does it matter if I'm not having dancing at my wedding?

I don't have a dance floor and my wedding is during the day :)

Hi,

You could easily create a relaxed and laid back environment, there is no RULE that you must have dancing at your wedding. Music choice for the day could also reflect that. I would recommend a 3 piece or a duo to keep it as relaxed as possible.

is it bad luck to play break up songs at weddings?

some of my favourite songs are sad lol, do you often have couples ask you to play non-love songs?

Traditionally, we like to play music that is up tempo and entertaining for the guests. We like to set a mood and try to create a great atmosphere that matches the occasion. You wouldn't play songs that bring people down or remind them of bad times etc. Unless the song is a crowd favourite or a special request from the bride and groom, we would try to avoid as many sad songs as posiible. Is is bad luck? Probably not. Unless you are very superstitious.

how much does a live musician at your ceremony usually cost?

Dear Bride,

It really depends on what type of outfit you require. You may really like the look and feel of a string quartet which, will most likely be more expensive than a solo guitartist playing instrumental acoustic music. Most musicians would charge anywhere between $500 to $1000, however this is only an estimated guess as people do charge various prices for their services.
