DJ Retro Red grew up in the UK, surrounded by the sounds of Ska, Reggae, Rock Steady and Soul at the infamous Jamaican Yard Sound-System gatherings and Blues Dances his parents would organise for the local community.
His love of music and dance led him to explore music of all sorts and eventually set up the Rhythmic Apparatus Sound System, sharing the good tunes and vibes with anyone fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time.
Red has since traveled the world, working as an MC ‘Toaster’ & DJ ‘Selecta’ across the globe.
He now resides in Melbourne, Australia and is available to DJ at local, national and international events.
