Callum Watson is the Victorian Wedding Bagpiper. He is a highly skilled, acclaimed A-Grade bagpipe soloist specialising in music for wedding ceremonies located across Victoria.
With ten years experience, Callum will bring a touch of theatre with his emotive performance helping create a ceremony you and your guests will remember for a lifetime.
You don’t have to be Scottish or Irish in order to have bagpipe music at your wedding, this is music for all. You can hire a piper to perform at your wedding ceremony, to announce the arrival of the bride and the groom at the reception or to welcome your guests to the ceremony.
How long the piper plays is totally up to you. We have packages to suit all possible needs.
Callum can play from the traditional Scottish repetoire or can perform your special tune.
A traditional dress uniform will be worn at your ceremony which adds a unique touch to your photos.

When he's not working as a wedding bagpipes professional, Callum Watson is an award-winning pianist, composer and producer specialising in both Jazz and Classical music. As a composer, Callum has written original scores for nine theatre productions including one musical and also has a diverse portfolio of concert works which have been played by ensembles internationally. Critics see Callum “emerging as one of Australia’s most exciting composers”.

My dad and his fiance are about to get married this summer and I’m in charge of selecting songs for the whole day. The only song set I’m missing are the songs to be played during the ceremony itself. I was thinking of playing the song my dad’s fiance sang during the first time they met in an international dating social event. But I was thinking of using it for their first dance together. Another option was using the first song they sang together during karaoke night the day she first met our family. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

I am thinking of booking a singer to sing our entrance song only and wondering musicians charge by the hour?I already have a pianist and violinist and feel I would like it if a musician would also play the song.I am based in Adelaide for a winter wedding.
