Can you service rural/regional areas?

Absolutely, we just charge a small travel fee which is calculated per kilmotre in order to cover the DJ's time and petrol costs.

Do you have live wedding bands?

We have one of the best '60s and '70s wedding bands in Melbourne, please ask us for more information.

Can you create playlists for us to play before/after the DJ plays?

We can create the perfect playlists so that you don't have to worry about the music at any stage during the night. These will be curated for you personally based on your own tastes and recommendations and is a great option for those on a budget but who still want to enjoy great music throughout the night. FAQ

Can I meet with Astound DJs to talk about my wedding in details?

Astound DJs will work with each client to ascertain the details of your booking, including ensuring that you select a suitable DJ for your tastes and needs. This will include detailing the load in and out times, as well as any special musical moments desired for the event and any pre-production that will need to occur prior. Our booking agents will be available to meet with you in person or via telephone or email to discuss the exact details leading up to the event.

How do I make a booking with you?

Once the details of the booking are agreed upon a deposit is required to secure the booking, the remainder of which can be paid anytime until seven days after the event. Until the deposit is paid the booking is not confirmed, although it is placed on hold for you for a period of seven days once the initial quote has been issued.

Is there a minimum time I can book a DJ for?

A minimum booking of three hours is required unless otherwise agreed upon.

Do your quotes include all of the equipment involved?

Our quotes cover the DJ's time, including preparation, travel and set up time, as well as the use of our in-house DJ equipment. If you wish to use our in-house PA speaker system you are most welcome for a small additional cost. We are unable to offer lighting equipment/smoke machines/karaoke/photo booths at this time.

Can your DJs also MC our wedding?

Many of our DJs have years of wedding MC experience, just ask for more information.

Fantastic! Alex was great, really responsive and always answered our questions. We had a list of like 500 songs and he was really accommodating with understanding what we wanted. He made a very stressful process very easy to organise.
