FAQ
A wedding ceremony typically costs $650 which includes 15-30 minutes of background music pre ceremony and your choice of pieces for the ceremony itself including the bridal entrance, the signing and the finalé.
For a ceremony I would allow for 5 - 7 pieces for the pre-ceremony music and a minimum of 3 for the ceremony itself.
You might like to have seperate pieces for the bridal party and the bride entrance. You might also wish to choose 1-2 pieces for the signing depending on the length of the piece. If you are booking me for the cocktail hour or reception launch you will need to choose 15 - 20 pieces. You can also opt to set a genre and a couple of your favourites and I am happy to choose a playlist for you. Let me know what your “No” list is.
I charge $100 per hour after the first 40 kilometers.
To save your date I will need your date and approximate time plus the address for your ceremony and or cocktail hour/reception and a deposit of 50% of the fee. You must confirm your music choices and all details of the wedding 1 month prior to the day.
You are also welcome to request songs, I will be happy to do 2 requests free of additional charge as long as they are not too complex. If more requests are desired I will charge at a rate of $100 per request.

No there is no extra cost for vocals however if you request an additional musician there is an additional cost.
E.g. chairs / flooring / shelter etc I provide my own PA which is sound checked for your space or outdoor setting. I will require power for my large PA system and any electronic elements required as part of the performance. If you would like an unplugged performance I have a battery powered PA for these settings. I will require an umbrella if the wedding is outdoors and the day is likely to be either very warm or raining. I will require a dining style chair with no arms and a flat surface to place the harp on with no stones or damp. If it is windy or chilly this will make it difficult to play so it is a good idea to have a cold/wet weather alternative if the wedding is outside. If outdoors please provide a 2m sq mat for the harp, stand and chair to sit on.
Please email me at emilyrosner@theharplab.com for availablitiy and pricing.
Either method is fine. Deposit of 50% is required to secure your date and balance can be paid with cash or transfer on the day.
I am happy with both forms of contact. Whatever suits you best.
You are welcome to have a face to face meeting with me or over zoom if you would like. But rest assured, I have been doing this for many years and unless your wedding is very complicated it should be fine to proceed with little fuss.
Yes I sing as well, click here to listen to my audio examples.

Thank you so much for your kind review Kim! Your wedding was such a highlight and your guests were absolutely lovely! It was so special to see the dolphin pod swimming in the bay as you celebrated. What a perfect setting it was. Wishing you and George every happiness together!
