How far in advance should we book our DJ?

Complete DJ often book out on many dates, so it is recommended that you book them at least six months prior to your wedding date.

FAQ

Can we come and see your DJ setups, photobooths and lighting options?

Yes! We have a large showroom conveniently located in Osborne Park and can arrange viewing appointments both within and outside normal business hours, to suit your lifestyle. We’ll have a detailed chat with you about your wedding vision, and come up with a custom package to suit.

How many DJs do you have and how experienced are they?

We have a team of 15 DJ’s, all of whom have done hundreds of weddings. Just check out a few of our reviews to see the great feedback we get. Our team cover a wide range of music genres, and some specialise in different cultural wedding traditions from around the world.

What happens if our DJ gets injured or is unwell?

No problem! In the unlikely event of anything like this happening we always have backup DJs and equipment on standby. We also do all of our customer communication through our office, so always have access to up-to-date client notes, request forms etc.

How much control do we have over the music?

We have a huge online song database and online planning form system to help you through every stage of the planning process, this includes having as little or as much control over the music as you like. At your first planning meeting at our showroom we’ll walk you through how this works, and once you’ve booked you’ll be sent your custom log-in to access your personal online planner. Our experienced events team are also available any time to assist with song selection, preparing your reception timeline or anything else you might get stuck on.

Do you charge for set up, pack down time or MCing?

No! When you book a 5 hour DJ package you get 5 hours of music play time, with no extra charge for delivery (except outside of the Perth area) and set up. All of our DJs are also excellent MCs and we’re happy to include this service at no extra cost.

What a vibe! Corey from Complete DJ played our wedding and absolutely killed it! He absolutely nailed our style of music and our vibe from the info we gave him, and knew exactly how to read the room! We used Complete DJ for our wedding and are so glad we did! We could not have been more impressed! The team are responsive, friendly and professional. We upgraded our package to include 4x light towers and added up-lights, spark machines and clouds for our first dance and it made the night so amazing. We chose Gary to be our DJ after some recommendations from friends and he is up there with the best! He met with us when we had questions and helped us through every little detail. Even after hours! Gary was a great DJ and MC on the night and you'd often see him 'working the room' talking with other vendors and guests to make sure everything ran smoothly. He even helped to move a few things throughout the night. Gary definitely understood the assignment and nailed the night! Ourselves and our friends are so impressed. Also is a great photographer too!
