A typical Wedding Reception runs roughly 4-5 hours, The band members are usually at the venue and setup before your first guest steps foot into the venue. (In this scenario) lets say your guests enter the venue @ 6:30pm, we will provide easy listening music via iPod through our system whilst canapés/drinks are being served. We will usually start performing as soon as the newlyweds enter (after photo's etc..) and at this time, the clock usually starts ticking.

for example:

Couples entrance is 7:30pm (we will perform from 7:30 till 11:30)

Our (minimum) 4 hour package contains the following breakdown:

1st bracket - 1 hour (dinner set)

15 mins break

2nd bracket - 45 min (Dance)

15 min break

3rd bracket - 45 min (Dance)

15 min break

4th bracket - 45 min (Dance)

Hit Parade utilizes state of the art sound equipment that digitally captures the sound characteristics of your room, and the bandleader is actively monitoring this system to create a comfortable balance for all of your guests. As the dance music sets evolve during the event, we are always available to execute your request to adjust the volume of the band.

We ask that you review the songlist list from our website and check off the songs that you don't want played. On the day of your wedding we will work from the list you have created. We are also extremely capable of getting a feel for what your guests are responding to, and perform music we are sure will pack your dance floor.

Yes we can play your first dance live or play it on iPod for you. We know how important it is to perform the song exactly like the original especially when their are rehearsed dance moves involved.

Yes, we travel all over the NSW region.
