We are one of Queensland's busiest and best, multiple award-winning, wedding entertainment duos. We can cater to all sizes and styles of weddings. Servicing the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast and many regional areas.

Walk down the aisle to our beautiful acoustic version of your 'must have' song, then kick the party into top gear and get the dancefloor pumping with our full band sound to fully produced backing tracks. It's a big band sound for a small band budget!

Something Borrowed Duo offers a range of customisable music packages for Queensland weddings, including:

Ceremony and canapes (this package available Monday — Thursday weddings only). We ease your guests into the day with a collection of beautiful acoustic ballads as they arrive at the ceremony area. We liaise with your celebrant or another marriage officiator to discuss and understand the clear cue for us to start THAT song for the aisle walk. We also play your chosen songs while signing the marriage certificate and as you walk back down the aisle as newlyweds. Then, we move our portable gear to the canapes location and get started on our next batch of acoustic earworms!
Canapes and Reception. After the canapé set, we move to the main reception where our larger PA is already set, ahead of time. 4 x 45-minute sets or 6 x 30-minute sets over a five hour reception. , however, we are extremely flexible and will work around your run sheet for the day.

Ceremony, canapes and reception. Our most popular package. A full day of entertainment. No need to worry about a thing... we've got you covered.
Free MC service. We MC around 90% of weddings they play at. So, not only are you getting some of the finest musicians around, you're getting a professional, experienced MC... for free!

As you'll read in most of our 5-star reviews, we are always easy to get a hold of in the lead up to your big day and we are always flexible on how the day runs.
We liaise back and forward with you until we have every detail of every song choice... i.e The aisle walk, signing the marriage cert, recessional walk, bridal party entrance, first dance, parent dance...etc. Nothing is left to guesswork.
We let you know of our proposed set times once we have your run sheet and work with you if any changes need to be made. We're happy when you're happy.

Something Borrowed Duo packages include the following:

Up to 3x songs learnt by your chosen artist to be performed live at your wedding.
DJ'd Spotify playlists for our live set breaks. You can even play a role in this by creating the playlist and sharing them with us. We'll have them ready to play on the day.
Wireless microphone for speeches during the reception
State-of-the-art PA system and dancefloor lighting with all reception bookings.
All duos arrive 1.5-hr prior to their start time to ensure everything is set prior to commencing.

What areas of Queensland do you service?

Pretty much everywhere (further accommodation fees may apply for certain areas). Primarily, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and surrounds. Also many regional areas.

Do you cater to song requests?

Yes! We have a huge repertoire. We are always happy to play a song request if we know it. In saying that, part of being a great wedding entertainer is knowing what to play and when to play it.

We chose our wedding date around the availability of Something Borrowed Duo. It was a double wedding, and we were not sure what we wanted or how it was going to work out. The only thing we knew if that we wanted them, and they did not disappoint, making our day even more special than we could have dreamed. These guys are dedicated professionals, and they know weddings. We had a perfect wedding, without any stress. Our guests were blown away by how great the music was, and friends and family are still talking about how fabulous they were. My friends are now trying to come up with a reason to have another celebration just to get them back playing music so that we can have another fantastic party!!

Adam and Brendan are absolute champions! We met Adam and Brendan at our venue open day and locking them in for our wedding day was one of first and easiest decisions we made. From the moment we met, we loved their positive energy and great sense of humour, even during the struggles of COVID-19. They were so professional, accommodating and down to earth through the whole process. They were excellent at communicating the whole way through and nothing ever seemed too much trouble after countless phone calls and emails. We were well supported and guided by their years of experience in the wedding industry, which made it so effortless. Our guests were amazed by their talent and their ability to play right through the whole day and night, they were excellent.

Brendan & Adam, I've been dying to find a minute to thank you both for your fantastic work at our wedding on Saturday. You guys were truly a pleasure to work with through the whole process and most importantly your music was a hit with our family and friends right from the very start. Your acoustic work at the ceremony was superb (we got many comments on how wonderful you sounded) and the atmosphere you provided through all aspects of the night was perfect. Not only did you have a great song list of your own, you read the cues to keep the dance floor full all night. You were even more than willing to accept requests (from both cultures) making the experience enjoyable for all! Finally, I cannot sing your praise highly enough for how adaptable you were regarding the timeline and set times. Like most weddings, I'm sure, we ran extremely late and struggled to fit in the planned sets so you happily accommodated and once the dance floor was open, played for at least an hour and a half straight (without a break or food) to help us keep the party going! That was completely beyond our expectations and we cannot thank you enough. As we've been catching up with our family and friends in the aftermath of the wedding, almost every one of them have commented on how great the band was and most of them even noticing how you played without a break, making the back end of the night a wonderful talking point! So one last time, we'd love to thank you both soooooo very much and let you know how much we appreciate the work you put in. You will be highly, highly recommended to everyone we speak to! Thanks you so much guys!! We had a great time. All your friends and family were fantastic and we absolutely loved the island dancing. It was awesome to watch.
