Whether you are getting married in a Brisbane venue, a barn wedding in the country, or a resort ceremony and reception on the beach or in the Mountains, one thing is certain… you are going to need a talented DJ to bring it all together. Mixing skills and song selection are a huge part, as well as knowing how to inform and entertain you and your guests. But like so many things in life, experience is everything, and wedding DJ’s are no exception.
In many situations, your DJ will be in charge of setting up and running microphones for your ceremony; a knowledge of acoustics and frequency adjustments are fundamental. In addition, they may also be playing the music for your wedding. Smooth, timely transitions are key, which starts with preparation. Knowing the right questions to ask the couple, the officiant, and the coordinator could be the difference between a flawless ceremony and an unwanted distraction.

Next Level Entertainment DJs use the latest in club style lighting and sound equipment. The music library is digital and we have a wide selection of the top hits. The DJ system is very attractive and unobtrusive. We offer a full club style lighting system that can also include a laser light show. In addition we can provide wireless microphones and a video projector.
Yes we can provide music for your Wedding Ceremony. Make sure to let us know that you will also need us for the Wedding Ceremony. You Wedding DJ can play all your wedding music as well as provide wireless microphones to be used by you and your officiant so you guests do not miss a single moment. We offer a second sound system for your wedding ceremony which allows us to transition quickly from the ceremony to the reception.
The amount of time your DJ will play is totally up to you. Typically Wedding entertainment lasts about five to six hours. You can decide in advance how long you want your DJ to perform and the price will reflect the time frame. If you are having fun and want the DJ to play longer you can purchase additional time the day of the event.
Your DJ will arrive around 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time of your event unless other arrangements have been made. It typically takes about 60 minutes to set up so this allows us to be set up before guests arrive.
Absolutely! We’ll work with you prior to your event to determine the specific styles and individual requests that you’d like played. We’ll also encourage your guests to make requests (if you approve) to make sure we play the songs that you and your guests want to dance to.
