“Sofie was incredible. She was so professional to deal with, and she took a lot of time to make sure everything was how we wanted it. Her voice is so unique and beautiful! We had a lot of our guests comment on how good she was. She performed “Over the Rainbow” as I walked down the aisle. I thought I couldn’t love that song anymore until I heard Sofie sing it! One of my bridesmaids is getting married this year and has asked for her details. Highly recommend!” - Monique H.

FAQ
1. Great reviews
2. Have they performed outside of the wedding sector?
3. Can they beat match?
4. Do they mix?
5. Do they have a SoundCloud?
6. Are they confident?
7. Are they trained?
8. Do they use a midi controller, or CDJ’s? (If yes, it’s a great sign - if they don’t, they are using a laptop or a Spotify playlist, this is a RED FLAG!)
9. Have they had experience with weddings?
Here’s a list of red flags
1. DJ’s who Can’t beatmatch
2. DJ’s who use only Spotify
3. DJ’s who burn tracks from YouTube other services (these tracks are low quality and will hurt your ears!)
4. DJ’s who don’t have midi controllers (decks), or CDJ’s
5. DJ’s who use tracks with a quality of less than 192kbps
6. DJ’s who “fade mix” - this is a fancy Spotify playlist. Sure, for the singalongs, fade mixing is appropriate, but this should be limited.
Even if you hire a DJ, it is their responsibility to be professional and achieve certain standards If you are paying a premium.
All of my performances (current and past) are listed on www.sofiebozzetti.com . You can view previous performances at the bottom of my webpage to see the amazing venues I’ve had the privelage to perform at.
Weddings/Engagements/Parties are listed under “private” and I cannot extend an invitation to clients for these... But, comes along to a show and say, “hello!”
We could talk about this for hours. It largely depends on your budget. However here are some points to help you make a decision:
1. Music runs from before the ceremony until people leave the reception - this is a lot to organise and manage on the day if you are not hiring a professional!
2. As a musician and DJ, it is my responsibility to know the technicalities of my equipment, and to troubleshoot any issues that may arise - this isn’t something that Aunty Anne can generally deal with (unless she herself is trained of course!)
3. Having live music/ DJ isn’t actually that pricey! There are plenty of packages to choose from to fit your vision and needs.
4. Having a musician/ DJ takes the pressure off of you! Therefore, you can sit down, party on, and relax - knowing that someone has it covered.
5. Even if you assemble an incredible Spotify playlist, who is stopping guests from complaining or interfering? What if there is a poor song selection that can’t be mixed out properly?
6. There is nothing like a bride walking down the aisle in complete silence, and having a live vocalist that takes people’s breath away! That’s the goal... the “WOW” moment.
7. Even if you have a specific taste in music, I can tailor all of my sets to you! I purchase DJ tracks to mix with from reputable companies in advance, and I have over 10 hours of acoustic music to choose from.
I’ll let you be the judge here! Here are some of my achievements:
1. Singing for Hollywood royalty Chris Hemsworth,
2. Picking up 2 sponsorships under her alias Lemendt with Milk & Honey Audio to produce world class music
3. Working with The Adelaide Hills Wine Region providing music for overseas marketing campaigns
4. Singing for Wine Resident’s Australia for an international business trip from China
5. DJing 5 star residencies (both Dj and acoustic)
6. Headlining Sidechain Festival as an electronic act
7. DJing at some of Adelaide’s exclusive fashion runways for Ellery Events Australia
8. Working with 5 of Adelaide’s most reputable entertainment companies
9. Being nominated for the most popular electronic artist for the South Australian Music Awards in 2018
10. Having my single “Days” featured on Fresh FM on rotation during “The Jump”
11. Performing 3 times live on ABC radio
12. Being featured in several popular music websites as an electronic act

Get Expert AdviceWhat happens if our wedding DJ is sick on the day?
My partner and I are wondering what happens if our wedding DJ gets sick and can't make it to our reception? Do they plan for this sort of thing? Do we need to prepare an emergency playlist or something with our venue? Thanks.
Sofie Bozzetti Entertainment
Hi! For my clients, there is really no excuse for not turning up to a wedding! If something tragic happens, the sick supplier should source an alternative option for you. This can be discussed with your suppliers prior to paying the booking fee.
a dj or band ? if dj are there any that also MC?
Sofie Bozzetti Entertainment
Hi Cristiana,
It is much easier for a DJ to MC than a band. I offer both DJ and MC! It gives me the chance to plan the night and make sure things are running as scheduled.
Kind regards,

Wedding speeches, who gives a speech and should there be a format as to not repeat?
Struggling to know who should be giving a speech and what each speech should contain so we are not all repeating each other. ??
Sofie Bozzetti Entertainment
Hi there,
Generally, these are the people who would give a speech in the following order (but you can change it up to suit your reception!) :
1. Parents of the newlyweds
2. Maind of Honor
3. Best Man
4. Groom
Traditionally, the bride does not speak - however times are changing! Sometimes a joint speech is a good option, or the bride could do her own speech.
Kind regards,
Sofie Bozzetti
