We're a little biased but we consider it the most important part of your wedding. It is the only thing you will have forever. Most of the wedding is about the day. The wedding ring is about the rest of your lives together. You will wear it every day for the rest of your lives. Your children and grandchildren will inherit your rings, increasing their significance. Often this is the only thing they have to remember you by. We are often asked to incorporate heirloom wedding rings into couples wedding rings, highlighting how important they are to your children and grandchildren. At EverettBrookes, we also offer the opportunity for you both to make the rings yourself! You literally spend an hour and a half with a jeweller, rolling, filing, hammering and sawing a bar of gold into the shape of a ring. We record this process and prepare a movie of you making each other's rings. The jeweller finishes the ring to your design.
'with this ring, I thee wed' is the big moment. Knowing you've made your partners wedding ring or at least designed it together is a symbol and a memory you will have forever.
Hello, historically we've been symbolising our committment to love our partner for over 3000 years and as jewellery designers and manufacturers, we think Wedding Rings are one of the most important pieces of jewellery you can own. In fact, we're finding alot of our clients that are "second time arounders" are doing without the traditional Engagement Ring and Wedding Ring and just opting for a Wedding Ring that is the significant symbol of their endless love.
Best wishes

Some may view a wedding ring as only a material possession but everything that it symbolizes makes it the single most important wedding representation. This is the only physical piece from your wedding day that you get to take with you and wear every day. It has the power to remind you of all the happiness you've felt and the commitment you've made on that very special day. It is a daily reminder to you that every decision you make will impact not just yourself, but your spouse (and family) as well. It is a symbol of respect to your spouse and will serve as a first line of defense against infidelity. It will always be a visible symbol to everyone that your marriage matters.
So, yes, there are some people who may want to do away with tradition and look at a wedding ring as something shallow but we all need that daily reminder. Your wedding ring does that and more. Amazing how something so small can hold that much weight, huh?!
