How important is a wedding ring?

Some may view a wedding ring as only a material possession but everything that it symbolizes makes it the single most important wedding representation. We are often asked to incorporate heirloom wedding rings into couples wedding rings, highlighting how important they are to your children and grandchildren. At EverettBrookes, we also offer the opportunity for you both to make the rings yourself! You literally spend an hour and a half with a jeweller, rolling, filing, hammering and sawing a bar of gold into the shape of a ring. We record this process and prepare a movie of you making each other's rings. The jeweller finishes the ring to your design.

'with this ring, I thee wed' is the big moment. Knowing you've made your partners wedding ring or at least designed it together is a symbol and a memory you will have forever.
