Hi! My ring is big and I don't want it getting too knocked around, it's only 4 prong, how can I care for it? Should I be taking it off to shower and gym/ sleep etc?

Good Afternoon,
Firstly I would like to say , you are very lucky to have received a big engagement ring, and in order to maintain the look as new and fresh as possible , its important that you care for it always. When you are home doing housework , cooking , or generally at home, your ring does not need to be worn , so we advise you take it off and leave in its box. Also whenever possible try cleaning it in cloudy ammonia and warm water and dish washing liquid to eliminate any potential grime to build up. Also we would recommend that you visit your local Jeweller , yearly to have the ring viewed for any potential knocks, the ring may have endured and general wear and tear. Regular love and attention , like anything will keep the ring looking fresh and new always.

Is it normal for your wedding ring to be a little loose?
It definitely wouldn't fall off, but it spins easily. Should I have it tightened, or should I be waiting for the wedding ring, as having two rings will make it a little tighter on my finger, right?

Thankyou for your inquiry, The wedding ring is probably spinning around because you are trying it on alone, once you start wearing it with your engagement ring it will feel tighter. Try the ring together with your engagement ring and see if it feels ok?? Do you have diamonds on the wedding ring, if it keeps spinning around it may need to be resized. Is the engagement ring and the wedding ring the same size. ?As normally both rings should be the same size.

A third ring above my engagement and wedding ring?
Do many people get a third ring to sit above their engagement and wedding rings? My sister has this and I love it, is it a common thing to do? Hers matches her wedding band so they look really nice together.

Absolutely a third ring is quite common , for two reasons ... Firstly ,alot of ladies are doing the split band look to make their engagement ring look more enhanced with another band on each side of engagement ring , giving it a balanced appearance. Secondly , the third band ring is used as a eternity ring for first year anniversary or first child. It really is up to you to which way you like to go ...On the wedding day only one wedding ring is used and your engagement ring is worn on opposite hand and then placed on the wedding ring finger once you are married.
