Hi!

I suggest working backwards from when you are wanting your guests to receive them.

For a destination wedding, or a wedding with a lot of interstate or travelling guests, you may want them to receive their invitations around 4-6 months out.

For a local wedding, 3-5 months out is generally fine.

I recommend receiving RSVPS back around 1.5 months before the date to give time to organise on the day stationery.

Our turn-around time is about 4 weeks (this may vary for other designers)

So with our timeline in mind:

- Order invitations 4-6 months ahead of your date

- Ask for RSVPs back 1.5 months ahead of your date

- Order on the day stationery 1.5 months ahead of your date (at same time as RSVPs come back)

Hope that helps! All the best with planning :)

Hi Lovely Bride to be!
We suggest this timeline for wedding invites:
1 - Post to your guests 4-5 months beofre your wedding date
2 - RSVP 6-8 weeks before your wedding date

3 - Order wedding invites 6 months before your wedding date.
4 - Book any on day stationery 2-3 months before your wedding date.

Hope this helps and happy wedding planning!

The ideal time to order (which includes drafting of designs) is 3 - 4 months prior to event. This gives you time for finalisation of guest list as well you can give your guests a little extra time to organise any babysitting.
