Self-taught calligrapher based in Melbourne. I LOVE creating invites and working with stationery. It has been a life long dream of mine to design wedding stationery professionally and to incorporate calligraphy in those designs. Left my day job to design invitations full time as it gives me so much joy creating beautiful items for everyone's special day.

I specialize in customised wedding stationery. But I do offer some pre-designed invitations available on my website. I also offer calligraphy for envelope addressing, place cards, and wedding vows.
Semi-custom invites are from $400 and will go higher for a fully customised suite. Send me an enquiry to get a better estimate for your event.
That depends on the type of design and printing you are after. It can take as little as 4weeks before they are shipped out to you or as long as 8weeks depending on the complexity of the design and type of printing.
Yes! But I make them digitally so they are printed on special paper in A1 or A2 sizes.

Get Expert AdviceI know this gets asked all the time but can someone please advise me of the timing for invites?
I've seen many articles advising to send out invitations 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding. This doesn't seem enough time for me as I'm wanting to organise place cards, printed seating chart etc not to mention I'm sure I'll be chasing people up for RSVPs! My wedding is early November so I'd love some thoughts/advice. Thanks!

Hi Katherine,
If this does not seem early enough for you, then by all means send them out earlier. All the better for you and your suppliers. You can always instruct through your rsvp to send replies as early as possible. Normally, I’d have people send replies at least 30days before. But you could always have it earlier. Send your invites out 4 months before the wedding if it’s going to be local. At least 6 months if it’s a destination wedding.

Wording for wedding invitations?
What suggestions do you have for keeping wording on wedding invitations to a minimal? Do you have to include parent's names?

Hi!
How you word your main invite will depend on who is hosting the wedding. If it’s mainly the ones getting married, then something like “together with their family and friends” is ok. But if your parents are mainly hosting (or paying for) it then, then you should include them at the start. I have a sample of this in my website for the semi-custom invites. You’ll find it as you check-out the 4pc suite. There’s an option for wordings there. Do check it out to get an idea.
